As a Diamond thresh main, I actually learned so much from this video, it's crazy. Pathing, blind spots, where to throw hooks, wards, and even that bonus trick of knowing whether bush is warded or not.

In order to activate it,the player you are linked with should be near to you when you use your ulti.If you use your R and you are solo or you are with a guy you havent linked with,it will not be activated.It is used from engaging supports (leona,thresh,Alistar,Rakan) and it has 45 secs to proc,and you can change the link,like knights vow.

As a diamond support main I could give some tips on hooking. So if you are low elo (iron-silver) just throw hooks in front of enemies and they will just keep runing in same direction and get hit, but for higher elo players who start to side step it becomes a bit more complex. First thing you have to think about is do they have mobility spells or spell shields (morgana, sivir)? If they do you have to play around it or predict it, for example i play against sivir I cant just hook her I need to walk up flay her or somehow bait out the shield then throw the hook. Another example ezrael his e dash, I first wait for him to dash then throw the hook or in some cases you can predict the dash. If you get even higher elo (diamond+) people also start flashing your hook if they know they are in kill danger, so you have to track flash cooldown i personaly know whether the enemy supp or ad have flashes up about 90% of the time. You can just type in chat the flash timers for example adc flash at 3:15 i type in chat AD F 815. Another important thing dont throw hooks that have like 5% chance to hook, because you wasting the cooldown gives enemies oportunities to engage you. And when going for hook as thresh its always better to just walk up and flay saving hook for later because people usually try juking and just end up walking sideways letting your adc auto them saving hook for last moment is usually the best try to lead with flay at all times unless its imposible to get into range of flay. Well i hope this helped

Nelliel punish when they go for cs. U either get the hook or u deny the cs with pressure. You don't see core throwing many hooks because he rather use it to pressure and throw it only when he has an advantage(wave, cooldown)

I think your translation is wrong at 3:30 CoreJJ said that if u trigger minion aggro by hitting them and then go to the bush if the minion still attacking u that mean there a ward in that bush. Its a common trick tho.( sorry for my bad english)

Morgana is good agaisn’t any engage champions because her black shield allows her to negate cc. You should avoid picking squishy and enchanter like supports agaisn’t engage supports because they are very squishy and lack damage to zone well. Try picking mages that have strong poke and hard cc such as Zyra, Morgana, Xerath, Bard, etc because they can poke and zone out the enemy to the point that they are too low to engage. Just make sure that you position well because you will probably still die if you get cc’ed on.

Eh I feel reluctant to turn on auto attack but I guess if I’m trying hard I’ll keep a high apm by clicking around a lot to stay focused so there’s no reason to not have it on.

There is another way to check wards without auto attack check. If you hit or close to a minion, it'll hit u and follow you. Then go into bush. If minions still hit you then you already know there is a ward. If not then they will change their move. I usually do this but yea I'm not ranked player.
