The game is very fun with a lot to do, even with it being in alpha. Be warned that the game doesn't hold your hand whatsoever, where as you literally have to read dialogue and search around the map to find quest objectives and npcs. The pin system is very good for finding stuff, though which other players can share in chat. Nice breath of fresh air in terms of mmos

Is there open world pvp you can do without losing gear? I love pvp, but i dont like harcore pvp. Also im afraid of exp loss on death- Does this happen at all in Corepunk?

yes, as it stands right now all open world pvp causes you to lose items from your inventory NOT your gear unless you become criminal

i like the full loot pvp island, but its dumb how hard it is to make tier 3 weps /aritifacts.... to drop it all is shiet.. you will just get people going in with meta builds and tier 0/1 gear.

yeah, with the current state of corepunk i kind of agree with that- i think making the island non lethal at first so people can effectively test the content would be the best idea, or some sort of single locked item drops.. i find it hard to believe teams would repeatedly go in and lose their gear currently without any sort of marketplace set up.

You will not recieve any EXP for killing a player who is more than 5 levels below you btw

I have about 6 hours played and I'm only lvl 8 as a Shaman. I bought the game because I thought Marauder (Engineer) was playable. It is not...

Why would they even let a lvl20 farm noobs and 2. why would they put a zone pretty damn close to the starting area with low level mobs to farm next to the starting area. I've played plenty of Albion and shit. this is just shit game design, but enjoy ur shit gameplay with the low pop it will have. Gonna be dead on arrival in its current state.

@@Halking2002 yeah i didnt play the game so idk how it feels like. But if you played albion you have a good comparison... Lets see if they fix it, one thing i saw in the video is that it seems that you can instantly flag for PvP - i am not quite sure if thats a good decision by the devs

@jjswigger8591 it's only in alpha. I would definitely recommend checking it out once it gets closer to full release. (Late 2025)
