I think the yokai drones sonic boom should act as a counter to grims gadget. If you sonic boom your teammate it will blow the bees off of you. It may increase echos pick rate cause he sucks right now.

I find it a little confusing as to why its shoulder mounted. It doesn't seem to have any more recoil than hibana's XKairos which is not shoulder mounted. Kinda weird design decision imo

It’s probably a shoulder mounted launcher for grenades/rockets developed by osa for nighthaven and then adapted into a launcher for grims gadget

Changes I think should happen: -Vigil should be able to completely avoid the bee's -The bee shooter should have drop like capitao's launcher -As soon as the bee canister lands it should be able to be shot, as well as the actual bee canister itself to be shot as well -Launcher definitely needs a bigger barrel for the launcher for the canister -Not a big change, but least make make the ads of the launcher when he's holding it like an RPG correct, lol, and an outside view of them ads'ing -If a canister hits a wamai trap it should be able to be shot p.s: Alibi being able to trick the bee's... I think the bee's track movement and body heat posible, so I see no change here

@@Literally_Corn All my cahnges would do is make vigil useable for an operator instead of being useless to me, if it drops like capitao it can drop off at a certain point, capatios drops at around 30-50 meters, which is fine. If you're in a room and see a canister in time and u react to shoot it, I'd say u deserve to not get scanned, the fact you can't shoot them makes it like an ash charge in a sense, if it lands, it'll blow up. Just feel like being able to shoot them makes it more fair for the defenders.The launcher with a bigger barrel is an asthetic, just for the outside and pov look to make it make more sense, doesn't impact the game. Then the canister hitting the wamai trap, if it's shooting, like a gridlock track and lets say the track goes into a wamai gadget, you can *shoot* it and it destroys it, so it saves you from having to shoot them on the floor, think if the canister can be shot it would make sense it would work the same with the gridlock trax on the wamai gadget if it's caught. I'm not trying make him useless, I'm adding changes that would make him more fair, cos rn, lion, dokka, Grim, jackal and monty, are the team you fear when it's bomb. At the point it's unfair.

It has a long delay and a distinct sound que so if you stay there and get scanned it's your fault. Imagine if Flores drones could be shot while in the armored phase. On top of that Grim is far from an operator that would need nerfs like this. If anything I would argue he needs a buff.

@@Literally_Corn All videos I saw of him and playing as him on the TTS, I'm sorry dude but he's op, being able to clear a whole room out and get rid of points that people hold by insta scanning them isn't ncie when holding an angle, there's counters to it but it's still really annoying to play against, esepcailly if ur geting dokka called, lion scanned esc, and the new meta with supressers I have no idea where I'm getting shot from but the bullets are doing max damage on my limbs instead of a good ballence which is making the surpressers take off damage, which I find is an amazing thing that a lot of shooters have, but in siege them getting rid of it to me is gonna make me not wana play anymore, all the stuff they add makes the game more hard to play and win against a better team, I had a guy on my team that was a complete noob, but he was playing grim, he got 3 scans off from 2 bee shots and they ran away or towards him for easy kills, it's just too op for me, a nerf is needed, a buff would only make him worse.

@@SquishyBauBau Well I've played about 15 games on the TTS (Many against and with him) and I can safely say they are really easy to avoid. Of course Videos are going to show him being op because those are the youtubers best clips. In practice Grim is a solid operator that can do things we can do already with some quirks. That also doesn't go into the fact that your peaking with a none lethal. There is little risk to getting shown on a Grim scan compared to a capitao or frag grenade that can kill you. On top of that his secondary utility sucks.

Would be interesting to see how Jager and Wamai's gadgets do against the canister that comes out of the ball. Destroy a hatch and shoot the ceiling so the canister drops down below to see if the gadgets still destroy it or if it gets ignored since it would usually still be inside the ball when going against the gadgets.

Can anyone explain how long the bees exist? Question 1: if a defender steps into the bees, it does it’s process of pinging…. If the canister was deployed let’s say 10 seconds before the defender stepped into the swarm, how many pings go off? Question 2: if you drop one as a flank watch, how long does the “untouched” bees stay aloft? The entire round? Is it as much of a flank watch as a nomad waiting for a rotating defender?

I have only one question, Jäger's ADS and Wamai"s MAG-NET will take out the canister after the ball deployed? It can be tested easily, just shoot Grim's ball onto the ceiling above an open hatch, then the canister drop down the hatch, and under the hatch will be a MAG-NET or an ADS to take out. It possily won't be a really common thing to happen, but i think it would fitted into a Mythbusters video.

Ok hear me out, grim/fuse combo on the floor above obj, grim uses shotgun and opens the floor to reveal enemies, fuse sends his charges afterward to clean everyone who got marked up. Other three (preferably osa, finka, and a hard breach) go plant

As Wamai main, I think the Magnet should destroy or instantly deploy the swarm it self as it destroy (or instantly deploy) other operator's gadget such as Nomad or Capitao. Also, I see some ways to nerf grim if things gone sideways, as 5 "balls" is too much in my opinion and the deploy time it self is kinda too fast.

They’re going to reduce his gadget ammo count from 5-3. Then they’re gonna shorten the duration of the constant ping. Vigil will be changed so he doesn’t get pinged at all with his ability on. I can confirm these changes as these are basic balance changes to balance his character which is, OP, as every new op is. They should also make it so explosive gadgets destroy the swarm. Makes no sense why they don’t.

Self inflicting damage that's why. Or friendly fire. Think about it.... Defenders have access to impact grenades. You would be throwing an explosive down at your feet to destroy a swarm the second u get pinged so you. Or intentionally/accidently throwing it at a team mate to try to disable the ping.
