Wow,this brings me back to a kid. Im from Chicago, and my dad is a die hard Bears fan, but in 86,I was 7 years old,and watched the Bengals/Bears game. I became a die hard Bengals fan over the years,I remember in grade school in the 90s we would play football when we had recess,and everyone would pick there favorite player. I was always Pickens, Dillon, Green,had all there jerseys. I had all there starter jackets, hats,ect. But it was rough being a Bengals fan in the 90s,esp when there best season had 4 wins. Not talking about the 91 team that made the playoffs, but it feels great to actually have a team that wins now,and last year on my bday,the Bengals made the Superbowl. The best present 🎁 would of been a Bengals win, still pissed at that play calling on 2nd-4th down, and couldn't get a yard

Man, I was a Bengals Fan when I was 7 years old. My late Brother Steve 💙 was A 49ers fan. 😂 I don't have to tell you about that, but I can still 🙈 Louis Breeden drop the 🏈 in the end zone. I won't lie, there for a second I thought we had a safety, interception. Then of course he dropped the 🏈 . There wasn't time to waste worrying, The very Next Play if I remember correctly,was the same exact play but Rice didn't drop it 🏈 😂 He was known for rarely dropping a 🏈. That's the main difference between A Corner or Safety and a Wide Receiver. Hands 🙌. We got beat Twice by The 49ers. It was a Bummer, . Steve 💙 is gone now , and It left a tremendous void in my life and my Family has never been the same. 🏈 Was something I watched with Steve, David , and Craig my youngest brother. I remember Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell, Al Michaels , and Don somebody who played QB for the Cowboys. Memories are all I have now , but that's how it is. Happy Endings are mostly in The Movies. Miss You Brother 🏈🔨💙

Todd .Chamberlain II Taylor made the Pro Bowl in 2007, when Fast Willie Parker had an injury. Taylor was his replacement. In my opinion, I think Taylor should have been the Rookie of the Year in 1998, but Randy Moss was a bigger story up in Minnesota, by catching all those long TDs from Cunningham.
@Monty_McFly5 жыл бұрын
@@carnationvideos4258 I gotta agree with you. As much as I like Cory I still remember Ray Lewis saying Taylor was the best RB he faced. I loved watching him play. Taylors injuries kept his numbers down. Had he been healthier he'd be in Canton by now for sure...
@carnationvideos42585 жыл бұрын
lou Nicks I agree. He retired as the 15th all time rusher. But the real issue is he played at a time when Tomlinson was scoring 26 TDs per year. Edge James was racking up numbers and staying healthy. Bettis was scoring TDs at the goal line. Priest Holmes went to KC from Baltimore and had the best 3 years of any RB. Cory Dillion was breaking record after record. Curtis Martin played during that era along with Terrel Davis. So many great RB during that time. With all of Taylor’s missed games and a period where the RB were running wild, Taylor doesn’t get mentioned as often.

It's a shame they couldn't have got him a few years later, imagine Corey if he had stuck around for the 05 Palmer season. Him and tequila spikes both forced their way out right as the Bengals were turning it around and I always wonder what could have been.
@dp2333322 жыл бұрын
Palmer proved he wasnt that good in the playoffs with Arians in Arizona...Dillon was superb...Palmer was superbly overrated...I know the knee injury came at a very bad time for Palmer, but it doesnt excuse/account for the way things went for them ove r the course of that era... Brady managed to recover from a scary knee injury and get to 6more SBs, winning 4of them...Palmer recovered well enough...It wasnt the knee holding him back...He didnt have the intangibles and didnt come up big in the biggest moments/games-not to imply he ever had a team around him in Cinci that was good enough to go all the way...The Bengals biggest problem stems from ownership...its the cheapest in the NFL...Coaching staff has been the lowest paid and smallest as is the scouting dept...A franchise can pick up some stellar big names in early portions of the draft operating like that, but the odds are it will always serve to handcuff the team and prevent the bengals from achieving the ultimate goal.
