I love Pink Floyd so much and I love it when modern rock artists make covers of Pink Floyd's songs. Like when Korn made a cover of all three parts of Another Brick in the Wall.

I feel that floyd is the most influential band spanning modern rock music. of all time. any genuine rock artist will tell you. slipknot and stone sour are brilliant. extremely difficulty levels. These are the things that floyd showed the world.

Honestly have loved Pink Floyd all of my life. I own every single studio album by them and a few of the live albums they have. I've always loved Slipknot and decently liked Stone Sour. Corey Taylor is far beyond talented. I don't usually enjoy Pink Floyd covers at all, but this is a pretty damn good cover. I know it is probably biased because I love Pink Floyd and Corey Taylor but I don't care. This is beautiful.

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar. You're gonna go far, you're gonna fly high, You're never gonna die, you're gonna make it if you try; they're gonna love you. Well, I've always had a deep respect, and I mean that most sincerely. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. Oh by the way, which one's Pink? And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? We call it Riding the Gravy Train. We're just knocked out. We heard about the sell out. You gotta get an album out, You owe it to the people. We're so happy we can hardly count. Everybody else is just green, have you seen the chart? It's a helluva start, it could be made into a monster If we all pull together as a team. And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

He has acknowledged in the beginning that he is a Floyd admirer and tried to pay an honest tribute to his most fav band. And they did pretty good with two acoustic guitars. You can't expect much when it comes to covering Floyd. This is not Brit Floyd here to give you an accurate impression of Floyd. Considering they had just two acoustic guitars, and that they were covering some of the greatest songs by one of the greatest and most respected artists, that was pretty well done. They deserve an applause for sure.

I came to this page looking for a few Floyd acoustic covers. At first glance listening to his stage banter, I was like "who is this pretentious bro/douche? He's playing a total shit bar gig version of this song. I'd even walk out of a bar if I walked in on a dude playing these songs like this. Wrong chords, out of tune guitars, no feel, too fast, maybe decent belting vox but not really, etc.." I decided to read the comments to see if anyone else felt this way, and it turns out several people did feel the same way - and they were ROASTED in the thread. I'm like "how could so many people defend this shit performance by this frat boy?"...then some guy in the comments said to an innocent hater - "You don't have any idea who Corey Taylor is, do you?'. Well neither did I, so I looked it up. Slipknot - a band I always saw as Middle America Mall Metal - but hey, this changes things. That this dude is the leader of SLipknot, well, maybe I'll watch some Slipknot vids and see what the fuss is about... Well, here I am after watching straight Slipknot for 2 hours, and I have to say let the guy do whatever he wants. So what if it sucks, this is not his element. He's just having fun playing some tunes he loves. In his element, he's a goddamn juggernaut. And that's the story of how I just became a Slipknot fan...

one of the slipknot musical references, it's good taste when the singer of heavy music sings the soulful song from the legend pink floyd, if you don't like this you need to watch welcome to the macihne by the other metal guy, that so freakin worst than this!

+Funkmentality no, it just happens to be indexed with it on the CD releases. It's not "part of Time', it has its own title which is Breathe (Reprise) because it has the same exact tempo and melody as Breathe, which is different from that of Time. Stop saying it's Time or "part of Time". It isnt part of Time any more than Eclipse is a part of Brain Damage.
