I think back to the lifestyle my great grandparents had and it was very similar. Except they didn’t have grocery store food at all except flour, sugar etc. They raised their own meat, garden. Mamaw - the candies were called 'squirrel nut zippers' at my general store growing up. I bit into one along my side teeth and when I pulled my teeth apart, the candy took a tooth with it!! Maybe that's why we can't find them anymore!! Corey and Mamaw - I sent the Epsom salts, scrubber and cashews. I noticed that Mamaw didn't have a mat for the floor next to the stove so am sending 2 (one with rooster and one with sunflowers) to protect Mamaw's precious feet! And there are also 3 signs coming for you, Corey, for your filming. The mats and signs will be there on Thursday.

I love that your mawma likes anything chickens. My mom used to be that way with roosters. She collected anything rooster❤ if you werent sure what to get her for a gift, you could never go wrong if it had roosters on it. She had a rooster cookie jar that i made sure to keep when she passed away. I know she will smile in heaven when i fill it with cookies like she used to for her kids and grandkids.

Bit o Honey is sold at Menards in Indiana. Mary Janes are hard to find. I love both them. Costco’s has a great price on Cashews in a big canister. Peach tea by Snapples is my favorite. That Dawn dish soap is amazing also for stains on your clothes. Great gifts! The crochet blanket is gorgeous! Is the tumbler a gift? It says just a woman??? Them tumblers are great for keeping things cold or hot a long time. Love the prayer & Bible reading. Can you add me to your prayer list please? I’d greatly appreciate it. Glad I found your channel.

I love taco soup, your recipe looks better than the o e I’ve been using, I’m definitely going to try it. I’m like Mawmaw, I can’t tolerate very spicy foods. Rotel, as well as Aldi and Great Value have a mild version of those tomorrows. I believe the fan says “tomatoes with green chili’s” then it is either regular, or Mild. We use the mild variety which gives the same great Rotel flavor, and those that like heat can add their favorite hot sauces like Valentina, Tabasco, Chalula, jalapeños etc. I am out of town right now, but Friday night we are absolutely having your taco soup with you corn bread! Thanks for sharing Gods true word, it’s always a blessing.
