Yup.. In Islam Jesus(PBUH) was a prophet and one of the 25 messengers sent by Allah to guide people and to worship Allah through a religion called Christian. In Holy Quran Jesus was mentioned in numerous times. You can be respectful and discuss who Jesus is/was and still disagree on His identity and what He did/does. As a Christian, to me Jesus is everything, the Creator of the universe, the Creator of the world we live in, the Son of God, God the Son, the Messiah, the One and Only Savior that came to earth taking on flesh, dying on a cross and being resurrected, the one who atones for sin if a person should place their faith and trust in what He did for them by dying and rising again. A person can say they are a Christian, Muslim or Jew, but that does not necessarily mean they know what it is to be those things.

As Christians we believe God is perfect and righteous in every way. How is Allah perfect in Forgiveness/Love and Justice towards sin/evil. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So since all sin throughout their whole life, since God is perfect in Justice towards sin and evil “for no one is righteous before God by their own works” so if God just forgives then justice has then failed because there was no thing/someone who paid for all that sin in order for Gods justice system to be perfect. In so many words it does say he is God. John 10:30 says by Jesus "I and my father are ONE." He is the son of God but he is linked to the Father which means they are one. He is Lord, He is father. As a muslim myself, I found it both laughable and saddening that so many muslims these days know so little about their own faith. God clearly explains in the Quran the role of Jesus (peace be upon him). Even Mary (peace be upon her) is described in beautiful detail, not just as the mother who gave birth to Jesus, but as an example of piety, good conduct and behavior. When so called muslims cannot even answer such simple questions such as 'why do we not believe Jesus is the son of God' then it is little wonder that Islam is in the state it is today...ridiculed and vilified, hijacked by heinous groups who kill murder and maim in the name of religion. Nowhere in the Quran is there a promise 72 virgins as a prize for massacring innocent people, regardless of their beliefs. Nor any verses sanctioning throwing people off of buildings or stoning them to death. I do not blame non-muslims for hating/mocking/dismissing Islam because the majority of muslims practice it in such a deplorable manner. Uneducated, unversed, unfit to practice the religion. I wish nothing but love and peace to all fellow souls, be they muslim, christian, jew, hindu, sikh, atheist etc. Regardless of whether your beliefs coincide with mine or anybody else's, you owe it to yourself to first sincerely seek knowledge. There so many ahadith Qudsy that clearly exhibit that. Killing is a huge crime in Islam but we can't say that it can't be forgiven. It is God's choice, not ours. That is why I am saying that we should avoid talking about this topic, because at the end of the day it is not like God sends down a letter grade for each person at the end of the day.
