The week my dear wife and I spent staying in Corfe Castle village was the last one we were able to take before her MS really took hold. It was fascinating wandering round the castle ruins. Apparently John fled here in a massive sulk after being forced by the barons to sign the Magna Carta.

Hi Sandra: That is a fascinating bit of information thank you. I shot four videos on my recent visit to Dorset. Corfe Castle, The Heritage Railway, Blue Pool and finally Sandbanks and Swanage. I made one of the Portland area last year. Thanks again for your comment Phil
