Nice video. Do you have the link to that setter tool?

Really liked the idea of hot gluing centering blocks. Very useful.
@AndyGraves Жыл бұрын
For sure. Once the glue is on you can just place it right on the counter and it's ready to clamp. Thanks for watching.

I had a Corian sink and countertop years ago and just loved it ! So easy to keep clean. It was in a bathroom and now I would like to know if it can stand up to daily kitchen duty. We are renovating a kitchen.

Hello, yes I think it does. I've had a Corian sink in my kitchen for 9 years and it looks great. Food will dry on the sink but a quick scrub with ajax or bar keepers friend makes it like new. I have a Corian sink cleaning video.

Love working with Corian. The only time I find it tricky is when working with sinks that have tight corners.
@AndyGraves2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, some of them are so tight I have to hand grind them.

Great video Andy. I am ready to assemble my oval undermount. My concern is the glue dripping onto the top inside of the bowl while inverted. How do I remove so as not to read into my 10 degree sink bit with the delrin covered bearing when trimming? could I smear a little vaseline near the bowl rim for easier glue removal? would appreciate your advice and thanks...... dave s
@AndyGraves5 жыл бұрын
Hi Dave, The bearing is going to be below the glue. Do not put any oils on the bowl rim or The inside of the bowl, it's not necessary. The length of the bit should easily clear the adhesive. If you have any questions let me know. Andy

How did it work out?

Hi Andy. I am researching kitchen counter tops. HEIP! You are saying that Samsung - Staron, DuPont -Corian, HI-MACS, Livinstone, Maganite, Stonia have color matched, 2-part adhesive that is used to install their undermount sinks? Swanstone told me their undermounted Sinks are mounted with silicone caulk and brackets. That really felt wrong to me. Also help me understand; I thought a 2-part adhesive would be you applying something on the sink and something else on the counter. The more I know the better decision I can make. Thanks.

Undermount sinks are installed using silicone to create the seal. A seamed in sink is actually bonded to the underside of the countertop using a 2 part adhesive. Which style sink do you have?
@daisy14413 жыл бұрын
@@AndyGraves I am remodeling my kitchen. I think I want a poly-resin "Seamed in" sink or drop in sink. Thank You for letting me know the proper term to use when looking for a contractor. After looking at many "how to re-install a failing silicone with bracket undermounted kitchen sink, I know that is not what I want.

What router bit to you use
@AndyGraves5 жыл бұрын
Go to routerbitsnow.com and find the bit that works for the brand sink you're using. Choose the 1/8" radius or 3/8" radius.

Have you ever created your own sink designs. Square sinks that don't require thermoforming to make.
@AndyGraves5 жыл бұрын
Yes, we make ramp sinks but they typically require special drains.
