My namesake song has been done by everyone from Bob Wills to Bob Dylan, and my dad named me for Ray Peterson's version--but the version I like best is this one by Brooks & Dunn.

i found it but it's shorter version of this and a different edit but look for asleep at the wheel "corine, corina" from their album, "tribute to the music of bob wills." it's not listed under brooks & dunn so that makes it hard to find.

I beg to differ, AZRacer2000. This song was first recorded in 1928 by a country blues band, and for the most part has remained a country song. I've heard Taj Mahal's version---and I really, really don't like it. I don't even consider it the same song.

@Parawi13 This is credited to Asleep At the Wheel. Brooks and Dunn are just on vocals. Btw, Taj Mahal's version isn't that good. This is a great version, but Muddy Waters version is the best out there.

OMG, that is a terrible version of this song! You should listen to Taj Mahal's version of this song! This was never intended to be a country song! Just like " 6 days on the road" sounds terrible when the original version is up against Taj's!
