How would you make slits for photos to slot in rather than stick them on

Use the line Shape in cricut place them where you want them on the design and then attach. It will cut just a slit and you can slide the photo in

Hi, I am new to cricut, love your video but I do have a question. I have been doing everything I think that you say to do. But my letters on top on not blocked like yours. The cricut is cutting them out, not block letters like yours. Do you know what I may be doing wrong?

You need to make sure you have welded everything and make sure the font is a blocky font

Hello, can you tell me what settings you used to cut. I attempted this however, mine keeps tearing the words. I did them in all caps and am using a textured cardstock from walmart. i tried the 80 lb with more pressure bc default would not cut all the way through. I also tried 110 with default and less :( my daughters birthday is in one week. Thank you in advance

Be sure your blade is clean and your mat is sticky. All machines are different so I recommend doing test cuts

Could you make something like this but rather than being on a flat piece, have the words on the fold of a piece folded in half so it stands like a pop up card? Does that make sense?

Sure. you would need to duplicate the card and then flip it so its basically a mirror image and then weld them together
