A touching moment from the Office. After struggling with their relationship for some time, Jim and Pam are reconciled.

I think it's very significant that they said "I love you" at the same time. The whole season, they were out of sync with each other, and them saying it at the same time here symbolically shows them coming back together.

Love suffers long, and is kind. It is not proud. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Stuffs like this I find annoying as annoying I find when people try to preach Christianity on KZbin. You (the creators of this show) recite a verse from the Bible but never take serious Christ and His message. Who wrote that verse also expected no sex before marriage. But who ever heard about love without sex in our days? It's blasphemy nowadays.

I think she felt that hug like a 'Goodbye Hug' from jim. Like thanks for being with me and now it's over kind of hug. Then she realised afterwards. :)
@blaustein_autor2 жыл бұрын
@@hb4036 Wow that is a good take. I watched this and instinctively felt Pams detachment and mistrust throughout the whole scene, but I didn't really know why. My take was: Pam thought that Jim was playing a power game, trying to keep the upper hand. And she knew she probably was playing the same game, so at first she suspected his hug to be part of that - and then recognized that Jim got over himself. But it's probably a bit of both!
@bboynava18123 жыл бұрын
The people that think the fights and differences between Jim and Pam were unnecessary seem like they never meet new people that they love in their life. Love is exactly that, acceptance, and not only with your couple, but with yourself. Acceptance of changes, understanding ourselfs and other people. That's love.
@Azire4 жыл бұрын
This actually is my favorite Jim and Pam moment, because i think this is the one that exudes love the strongest. I mean even without the commentary, it's impressive how much love there is in this interaction, like for a moment words are not enough and still everything is said... It really shook me the first time I saw it. It's just... It almost felt too intimate for me to watch. Really properly beautiful.

I really liked this storyline with Jim and Pam. I mean, I get that their relationship wasn't as funny as in previous seasons. But in terms of original, good, story telling I thought it was great. I hate it when couples in TV Shows have angst for like no reason, or something that can be settled really quickly. This felt realistic and you were invested in it. We all knew they weren't gonna divorce but that didn't mean we knew how it was gonna end. I found it really interesting seeing this new element and dynamic brought forward. And very eye opening into the characters of Jim and Pam.

Most desperate and sad moments also contains the happiest feelings when a loved one embraces you at that exact moment, just like in the Inside Out movie, sadness is an important feeling and the love best shows itself with sadness. No one cries until you feel that touch, which clears all the concerns, regrets and darkness.

People keep on pouring hate on Pam while I think the writers have done such a beautiful job of showing that they have both been right and wrong at one moment, and this is so relatable to every relationship. Love is work, to get over obstacles, to have this joy of reunion after fighting, to look back at the obstacles you faced together and that made you stronger. It was so well written I kinda like watching this video from time to time, but especially when my husband and I have arguments : it reminds me that we can overcome those storms because we love each other even if we're mad at each other on the moment
