In our current Coriolis game, our GM lets players tweak the rules in specific circumstances (like dive in front of another PC to intercept an attack, or perform a more “realistic/simulation” action), but only by giving the GM a darkness point. So, basically, using darkness points as the cost of tweaking the rules every now and then.

I don't get it, but I'm old. 👴 I barely tolerate watching videos on my tablet. A phone? That's just too small for me.

I completely felt the same about your statement in the beginning. Especially liked "natural organic inclusion above forced diversity". And then "you shortly honor & empower wounded soldiers" without kidding!!?!? So what you really wanted to say: "No politics, that I don`t share!" Hippo

That's a pretty ignorant comment, so let me educate you: • 1) The WWP is non-partisan. Political afflation and leanings are irrelevant. • 2) One could argue in the 2000s's the Republicans were the war hawks, while in the 2020's it's the Democrats. The WWP doesn't care. I've worked for the U.S. Department of Defense for 30 years - (USAF, USA, USMC, DISA) - as active duty, contractor, and civil service. I've served under both Republican and Democrat presidents, and no matter my political leanings, I did my duty and my job. • 3) Most people who sign up for the military don't sign up to kill people or go to war. Yes, they know that is a distinct possibility, but they usually join for many other reasons: training, education, sense of duty or something greater than them (though that's not as common as it used to be), etc. (I joined for all of the above.) Also, most jobs don't have you on the front lines. • 4) The U.S. military is made up of the most diverse people I have every been a part of. Right Wingers, Left Wingers, Bible Thumpers, Atheists, MAGA, anti-Trumpers, well-off, poor, every ethnicity you can conceive, young, old (maybe not too old for Active Duty), woke, trans, medicated, and those who find those people to be degenerates. In my office alone there is a pronoun identifying lesbian chick, a gay guy, a weboo kid that would have had his ass beat 10x over in my high school, a conservative Christian, a couple of handicapped people, gamer nerds, gun nuts, eco-activists, hunters/fishers, and every color of skin from the blackest black to the palest white from every state and socio-background possible. • 5) Finally, my politics (somewhere between Libertarian and Republican) and Heathendog's politics (old school Democrat) couldn't be much more different. The only thing we 'share' in common is our aversion to the crazy woke, cancel culture nonsense that's infected politics and the culture in the last decade. Outside of that, we don't share politics. If you want to complain about something, complain that WWP only supports American warriors. That's a legit complaint, considering that we have an international audience. Whatever I may think of this current or of past administrations, I am absolutely pro-American - America First - and I make no apologies for that. So, no, there is no hypocrisy. This isn't political, it's to support people who were mentally or physically injured in the line of duty, while serving in the armed forces and whichever lawful government was elected over them.
