Hello Tamara! What a pity, we have great projects with installing cork on the wall. About your question: it is not recommended because the wall must be flat, smooth, firm and clean. You should remove the cork tiles and clean the wall before the wallpaper installation. Hope we helped you!

I need something that will provide insulation and anti mould effect on a cold bedroom wall in winter. Could cork be the answer?

In fact, cork is an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator. Cork is mold resistant (this means the cork will not be damaged by mold), but the cork is not anti-mold, so if the cork is installed on the wall with mold, this mold after some time may appear on the cork. To avoid this problem, you need to coat the wall with anti-mold primer, and after the primer has dried, the cork can be installed. Hope we helped you!

May i ask why did you start in the middle of the wall and not top to bottom?

I'm sorry, it seems we missed your question. Installation can be done from the top or bottom but it is easier to make a mistake and loose straight lines if the floor is not straight and also has a slope. That's why usually installation is done from the straight line in the middle. Also the visual aspect becomes more uniform starting in the middle of the wall. Hope we helped you!
