My boyfriend rescued a baby one today from a tree that was cut down in Rwanda central Africa, we’ve just built it a nest and it’s settling down nicely, it doesn’t bite and is very friendly, we will look after it until it’s old enough to fly away on its own, and if it gets comfortable here we are happy enough to own it as a pet as we have lots of nature and free space in our compound. Will do an update on what happens!

A lot of cormorants in Eastern Europe, e.g. Poland but I have also seen some in UK on the Thames in London near Richmond. They sure know how to catch fish.

I was trying to find more about the double Crested cormorant , than almost the same ..One did say they do not have the oil gland like most birds. I wanted to know if it was true, because they did say their eyes are Blue, unlike what I had seen in your video.

00:30 it's Egeria densa, an invasive species. Was it in an artificial pond or in the wild? Cool fact file

No it was a cormorant not an invasive species of cormorant

@@theotheseaeagle - Cormorants are Invasive species. They should be all killed so we get our rivers and lakes full of fish again! Wake up people! See how they eliminated thousands in Europe! Now the waters are producing again. Cormorants eat dozen fish or more a day. Big or small. They kill it All!

Very factual...sbb Spp Carbo sininus is the main cause of riverine and inland fishery collapse most recent and incurring.

To many on the Thames and southern lakes we need a cull soon otherwise there will be no small fish left
