Corn Bread Casserole, Vegan Cooking Show by Kyong Weathersby

One Meal Deal! Simple and easy to make. Very delicious!
CORN BREAD CASSEROLE
1 c TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein)
½ c boiling hot water
1 c corn meal
1 unbleached white flour
2 T wheat germ
2 T Chicken-like seasoning
1 T aluminum-free baking powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 T nutritional yeast flakes
1 c frozen corn
2 green onions, chopped
2 T vegetable oil
2 c soy milk or any non-dairy milk
Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Mix 1 c TVP and ½ c hot water, and set it aside. In a large bowl, put corn meal, unbleached white flour, wheat germ, chicken-like seasoning, aluminum-free baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, nutritional yeast flakes. Mix well. Add soaked TVP, frozen corn, and green onions, vegetable oil and soy milk. Mix thoroughly. Transfer mixture into an oiled 13 x 9 baked dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Yum yum!
