I'm so happy to see plant based foods on your channel!! We watch either way but this was a bonus. My favorite plant-based/vegan easy meals is Gardein Vegan Plant-Based Frozen Mandarin Orange Crispy Chick'n over rice. If I'm in a big hurry or whatever, I use minute rice and it's just as good. It has a sauce with it that goes over the rice. Even my non-vegan grandkids love it. Love your videos and the relationship you two have, it's awesome to see. Thanks for sharing!!

Being a vegan I am so happy you are doing a plant based product! Try Impossible Meat Hamburger Patties, Morning Star Farms Chicken Nuggets or their Spicy Chicken Patties. I have so many products I could recommend!

Corn dogs are a great quick meal 😊 we like to buy gardien mandarin orange crispy chicken which is fake meat and we put it over rice and so delicious 👍🏻 both my daughters when young teens both vegetarians so I use to make a lot of non meat dishes 😊and some very delicious. I'm not much of a corn dog fan, I could eat a crispy fresh fair corndog, but as for frozen boxed, they would need lots of mustard or ketchup for me to eat them. My daughter is on a gluten-free diet because she's showing signs of IBS and she said they taste just like a regular corn dogs and eat them all the time, but I think they are Foster Farms brand. It's amazing how they can make gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy free or vegan foods taste similar to the regular thing now. Not all, but most, you really couldn't tell if you didn't already know.

I’ve never tried the Morning Star corn dogs but the bacon strips are pretty good. Their sausage links leave a lot to be desired though. I’ll give the corn dogs a try.

I’ve never had a corn dog in my life. I’m fairly sure I would agree with George on the taste test. I’m ok with eating vegetarian or vegan foods but I would never knowingly eat fake meat. Forget the freezer, cook fresh vegetables.

My daughter is in her 40's. She's been a vegetarian since she was 11. She still lives with me to help me. I've eaten the Morningstar corn dogs, veggie bacon and veggie sausage. I really like a veggie bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich on toast. I also like both the veggie sausage and bacon on a breakfast sandwich. Egg cheese and veggie sausage and veggie bacon, egg and cheese. I make the breakfast sandwich on toast, English muffins, pancake or waffles. I make the eggs like a egg and cheese omelet, the omelet makes a less messy sandwich. Sometimes I use fried eggs. Try and let me know what you and Dad think.

I usually always pass on Vegan / Plant Based foods I want the real deal. I rarely eat Corn Dogs & very particular about all Hot Dogs they have to be 100% Real Beef. I loved Kroger's Smoked Sausage Corn Dogs they unfortunately discontinued. I would only purchase their Kroger Brand 100% Beef Corn Dogs.

Hi Penny,George and everyone!👋😀 We need to try the veggie plant based corndogs by Morningstar! Have tried the Morningstar vegan- bacon stops, we love them! I fry them, great with eggs or as a BLT sándwich. Sometimes, will take a few from box and cook- them in green split pea soup or in pot of beans, for bacon flavor.Have tried the vegan(plant based) sausage and- or sausage links. But, prefer the bacon strips' and "round' vegan sausages...they smell/taste like Real sausage, only better! Have same texture-as meat, healthier and Cook-faster! We eat real meat, at times too. Thank's for another delightful food review and chat! Love to all! 💚🙏🥰 Oh, don't know if you've heard of these before, but,veggie type meats(canned) by "Worthington" and or "Loma Linda" hace "Big Franks", veggie fried chicken, "Vegeburger", etc., which are sold in health food stores or "Winco" grocery store. Also, a few health food stores sell frozen type veggie ham(fried is delicious or put in a sándwich, veggie corned beef, etc.. We've enjoyed many of these! 👍

I also think there is an appeal for meat eaters to switch to vegan products if they are like meat items they are use to. Like number 228. It's not the cholesterol and the fat that's so hard on you is the carbs and sugar. That's why the real is better than the vegan. Vegan has too much starch in it which makes it high carbs and usually they add more sugar for flavor. So actually the real ones, the Kroger ones are better for you. It's better to watch carbs and sugar bedfordally if you're a diabetic and I've had those fake Gino's or whatever they are. And they they taste fake. I mean the smoke in them is like they used liquid smoke. It's not like real smoked sausage and I don't like that flavor. It's too fake tasting. Anyways good video but George is right. Real is better. You can't beat meat with vegetable, just can't be done LOL
