Loved this, and for a longtime around the 4 minute mark there was a lovely 'loose' dragon fly in the top right quadrant, until it morphed into beautiful cornflower.

Before I learned about KZbin recommends, I felt the same. It's about Algorithms. The viewer may select the thumbs down simply because the recommended video is not of their interest, not necessarily that they find something wrong or they hate something about the video. By selecting the thumbs down, the viewer is telling KZbin that this is not an area of interest for them. Otherwise, KZbin will continue to recommend these types of videos and the viewer will find a constant stream of the uninteresting videos to deal with. I wish KZbin would use a different icon for those who are not interested in the topic. Possibly a simple palm facing forward to indicate to the Algorithm to stop recommending this topic. I think most KZbinrs may not understand this issue either, hence they become insulted by all of those thumbs down when it isn't an insult at all. Not everyone who receives a recommendation on any topic is interested in that topic. For instance, I receive a recommendation on a How to Use Automotive Tools. Now, since I'm a Senior Citizen female, I'm not interested in that topic. So, I will select the thumbs down. That thumbs down is read as a disinterested viewer and I won't receive recommendations for similar topics. I hope this information is helpful to you.😄

Thank you so much for that info Adrian. I’m live in Margaret River Western Australia. Fabriano Artistico is horrendously Expensive here, but I do use their less expensive papers. Will try the Bockingford. I used to do a lot of watercolour, then went to mixed media, have come back to wc, wanting to be loose. So your demonstrations are incredible, the best I’ve seen, just you quietly working with music. I noticed some Daniel Smiths in the background. I’ve just ordered some, how do you like them?

Hi Lise I use goat haired Chinese calligraphy brushes these are very cheap to purchase. The colours used for the cornflowers painting are Ultramarine, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Alizarin Crimson Hue and Gamboge Hue all from the Windsor and Newton Cotman range.
