No one else wondering why she’s going from a 20 gallon long to a normal 20 gallon

Okay, I was thinking that too lmao

That enclosure looks too small for your corn snake, the cage length should at least be the length of your snake. I would recommend an enclosure that is a 75 gallon tank or something with the same dimensions. Also that clear hide doesn't really count as a hide because it's clear, your snake won't feel secure in it, you can use black acrylic paint which is safe once dried.

75 tank 😂😂 recommended is 20 😂😂
@itzspillitz60084 жыл бұрын
They burrow in small holes anyway I just have a plastic bin for mine
@katiedyson34594 жыл бұрын
@@itzspillitz6008 the recommended is to have the length of of the cage be the same length as your snake. Corn snakes can be anywhere from 3-5 feet long and they're very active

@@katiedyson3459 True , mine will be going into a 75. Now he's still in his 35 gallon bin...
@quinnplaysguitar4 жыл бұрын
nah 75 gallons would be way too big and the snake would get stressed out by having too big of a tank. you want a smaller but suitable tank so your snake can acclimate faster and be more comfortable. not to mention, a 75 gallon tank is too big for even a full grown bull snake, 6-7 feet in length.

If anyone is upgrading their corn snakes tank, I would recommend getting bigger than 20 gallons. Still a good vid!

Gereat Job! Looks awsome and the snake will have fun in there i think! What is the size of your enclosure?
@CGpets1014 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I honestly cannot recall off the top of my head! It's an exo terra though, and I believe it's slightly larger than a 20 gallon or about the same size!

I don’t recommend the clear hide at all. Its technically isn’t a hide and can stress ur snake

Hey lovely vid and gorgeous snake❤️ I’m getting an albino corn snake soon and was wondering can I just get a heating lamp? or do I need a heat pad for my snake ?
@marianabascope67384 жыл бұрын
yt_shordie you would for sure need a heating mat, you can buy one on amazon for around $18! You would have to put it on one side of the tank under a hiding space and make sure its at the right temperature for the snake, also make sure you get a thermostat and a thermometer to check the heat of the heating mat bcuz they can get extremely hot sometimes and can cause not just thermal burns to you snake, bit it can also catch on fire, so a thermostat and thermometer is a must!
@CGpets1014 жыл бұрын
These species generally do better with heat pads as they spend a lot of time burrowed!
@uaroach40554 жыл бұрын
I'm still lost where I shuold put the heating pad
@eapugspitbulls36074 жыл бұрын
Just pick one side as the warm side and one as the cool side and put the heating pad on the warm side, but make sure both sides have a hide!
@aldik_dj3 жыл бұрын
Put it underneath and use a thermostat connecting to the heating pad to regulate the temp

1. your hurting your snake. cornsnakes are nown to be CLIMBING snakes… the terrarium NEED to be 1x 0.5x 1x the lengh of your snake.. (lengh x deph x height)
