I come back and listen to this ever so often. It strengthens me and reminds me that the path of critical thinking and unwanting love, the path of courage, is the right path. When I am tempted to accept complacency and indifference just to fit in, this keeps me on the narrow path.

He makes his point for that statement very clear. The fact that so much injustice was inflicted on a people, but yet they produced great minds, leaders, and lovers of true justice. Honoring the people that produced such individuals that called-and is still calling-this nation to justice and true democracy is his point-and a good one at that. We should honor every race, for they have produced great minds. I believe I hear sarcasm in your comment-I may be wrong.

If the truth hurts that bad, I'll leave you alone. But for the record, I didn't "track you down". As you can see if you go back in comments, I commented on this video long before you did. I also favorited it and came back to watch it. Then I saw your comment again.

invidious: of an unpleasant or objectionable nature. I think he meant what he said. You have to understand the character of God, represented in His entirety throughout the bible. Through my study of the bible, I've learned that God loves all mankind and desires everyone to be with him. (2 Peter 3:9). Slavery is an institution of man. God doesn't necessarily condone it but just works through it. It's the same as all other forms of evil and injustice we've brought upon the earth.

I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THESE GUYS WERE FOR BLACK PEOPLE AND WANTED TO HELP THEM OUT OF STRUGGLE....BUT AFTER WATCHING A FEW INTERVIEWS WITH THEM ON BILL OREILLY (WHERE HE DOESNT GET ROASTED LIKE OTHER BLACK HOSTS CHALLENGING THE STATUS QUO), AND THIS SPEECH WHICH IS BASICALLY SAYING:- KEEP TAKING THE HITS, TURN THE OTHER CHEEK, YOU ARE DEMONSTRATING YOU ARE BETTER THAN YOUR OPPRESSOR BY STAYING OPPRESSED AND NOT REACTING OR ATTEMPTING TO ADDRESS THE BALANCE OF POWER!!!! IS HE A LEADER OR MISLEADER?

Yeah, yeah. You seem to make claims about how weak my arguments are, yet you were never able to demonstrate how. And you never built up a case for yourself. All you seem to know how to do is be offended at what I say. Yet you never seemed to demonstrate how I'm wrong... And when did I complain? You're the one who constantly complains about ad hominem attacks.

Look I already dismissed you politely, i have no desire to speak to you and yet you have tracked me down and insulted me and launched allegations. Grow up, you don't interest me, accept that rejection. You bore me, you don't listen, you're cyclical and I don't have the inclination to waste time with you, deal with it.

You really can't take tone out of an internet argument. Sometimes you get it wrong. And is "meaning" what this is about? Everything having some sort of meaning around a celestial being? Are we all so insecure that we have to create this "god" character in our minds so we feel important? That would be terrible! I wouldn't want to live a life of servitude to some jerk in the sky. No wonder you got so insecure about it. Sheesh.
@Speegs2315 жыл бұрын
You were argumentative and rude when i you messaged me, truly you have no consistent position to even discuss as nihilism will win the day with your worldview even if you try to deny it so any discussion with you is a practice in futility.
