Your a Cooma boy!!, well Talbingo first I think, BUT still we ALL talk endless banter. er I rode from Canberra to Townsville like 50 years ago. ( three days !!! ) The horror stretch ( its a back road today ) was ALL dirt and two wheel track. Wife on the back, $15 vinyl saddlebags, sleeping bags strapped to front number plate ( required back then ) and tent between ape hanger handle bars. ALL on a Honda CB350. Time flys like a rocket, fruit flys like a banana. Good work unkle Mal.

Epic footage & cracker story about your wallet, about 35 yrs ago I stayed at the caravan park opposite a pub in Burke not too far from the Darling river rd, there was a problem with the youths back then, the we to make are way to Broken Hill it piss down 10 minutes travelling along the road in a old 40 series cruiser. After spending a day trying to helping out a bloke with his family camping on the river because of black mud ( so slippery) where stuck in their 2WD dual cab, we both got stuck with all my wheels spinning on top of track. We where both rescued by Telstra workers with a high mount winch with extra long cable. Anyway we finally made to Louth to refuel just before they closed the pub al the roads were closed except the road to Cobar finally got into Broken Hill around 8 am the next morning. Very eventful 24hrs there was a lot of water around after that, great trip of travelling the outside of NSW in 3 weeks. Been to broken hill & the dog fence to Cameron Corner in the late 90’s on XR600 never missed a beat 👍👍🍻🍻

A: Wilcannia is a tip, stayed there on my way to Mt Isa - rookie mistake in fact I’m surprised I had wheels on the car in the morning. I did spend more time looking out the motel window watching the car than sleeping. B: As for comms music is a game changer on those long hauls, even ‘The chicks’ are better than listening to the voices inside my head. As for talking to each other I ride to get away from people not to talk to them 🤣! Ps enjoying the videos & banter 👍

Haha Wilcannia stress levels! Mate my internal head radio goes flat out but yeah I constantly get told I need a comms! It's good conversation and a good shit stir bringing up the topic! Some guys are YOU MUST GET ONE lol!

Watch out old man speed there's a Emu coming right at you. Sorry about that, you don't have Comms. Bluetooth (20 evo s)👌 you choose when to tap out. I like my peace and quiet too. Stuff mesh. When you have seen your friend being taken out by a Emu, it ends a funny trip. Goats are the only smart ones that run in the correct direction, away. Tail rider is your back side 180° vision /warning. Enjoying the Vids Bringing back memories.👍

I told ya weeks ago.......comms are a game changer mate. You could have up to seven other riders in a group, and everyone can hear your coaching !! Lisa loves(😜) having me there to talk her thru the shitty bits. And, nothing beats tunes bluetooth'd from your phone on those long bitumen stretches👍👍Epic ride by the way. Darling River Rd.......Noted🤙

What a crazy story with your wallet! It's a shame about Bourke. There's probably no easy solution to the problems there. Yeah cotton farming uses a lot of water. Apparently they've taken a lot of water from the Darling and it doesn't flow as much as it used to. Like many rivers in Australia really. I've heard heaps of negative stuff about Wilcannia unfortunately. It is sad. What a mission in the mud! Thanks for the elbows up reminder! Yeah, I'm going to stay off closed roads i think! 😂 Now I know all about the Dixie Chicks! There's nothing quite like the shit talking on a bike trip! 😂 Another great episode mate!

Cheers mate the trip is just getting started! I should have episode 3 up on Monday hopefully! Yep roadside shit talking is the best fun on these trips! Mike from Inhardinated suggested throwing in a few rider tips enroute, it seemed pretty well received so it's something I will do more of. It's such a shame these awesome little towns are getting a bad name, there's something going wrong that needs fixing. Thanks for the support and watching the vids!

Cotton farming uses no more water than any other summer crop, in fact it uses less water than most
