You are the only person to explain step by step in a way people could understand the directions. 2 thumbs up.

Now that's how to make a DIY video! Precise and to the point with fantastic and clever ideas on how to make the shelves. My wife has been wanting me to make floating shelves for her for a long time and now I know how to. Thanks so much for posting this video. 5:54

Your Dad is very handsome and talented. SPEND every moment you can with him. Once they are gone, it is too late. My Dad was very handsome too. I miss him every single day. Thank you for posting this. I am sure I could not do it.

Great video with very well thought-out steps and commentary! Plus, knowing you were doing it for your daughter, I kept wondering if one of them was one of the kids you could hear in the background. LOL Thanks for sharing with us! Rob

Very nice tutorial, they look like floating shelves, part that I didn't understand is when you deducted 3/4" inch to the corner at the end. But very nice

I appreciate your taking the time and trouble to share the knowledge, which I found very useful. In the future, though, please don't use the on-camera microphone. Use an external lavalier microphone clipped to your shirt, and plug it into the microphone jack on your camera. That way, I'll be able to hear you clearly and understand what you're saying.

Carl Stewart I'm not sure what problems you are referring to? I'm here, on my phone that is turned down (hubby sleeping next to me) and had no problem hearing at all. What problem were you having?
@mstreefern Жыл бұрын
@@cattma0305 I think what he means is that the sound of the power tools is overpowering😅and often drowning out his voice. I had to keep turning the sound off while the saw was being used because it was piercing my ears😳 Perhaps if the vid had been edited to turn down the sound of the tools and increase the volume of his voice, it would have been super! No shade on Dad, he was excellent!!

I dont understand why you made the two big holes in the front.. ;)
@samyish8 жыл бұрын
+barrett osborne He could have attached the front trim to the top and then nail in the bottom. Saves wood and effort.
