Does a square represent one stitch? Thank you for the video!
@nanascraftyhome5 ай бұрын
A pixel square on the graph represents one block of stitches. So in this case it would be 3 dc stitches worked in the ch-3 space represents one block or square. I hope that helps! 🌸💕

I'm a beginner in C2C graphghans & would love to start with your butterfly but when I go to your website, I can't find the graph to download (I tried with the heart in another video & couldn't find that one either)???

I am so sorry you are having trouble locating the graphs on my blog! Here is the link to the butterfly graph scroll to the bottom of the post: nanascraftyhome.com/butterfly-c2c-square-easter-blanket-cal/ Here is the link for the Heart graph: nanascraftyhome.com/corner-to-corner-basics-how-change-colors/ and scroll down to the bottom. If you are continuing to have problems please let me know! Thank you so much!

Hi Tonya, fantastic video! I’ve been struggling with graphs blankets for a while. Do you place the working yarn to the front of the work or to the back? Also, once you do your decrease block, is the decrease block consider your first block for the new row? I’ve started nine graphs and they all start going haywire after I do the decrease block. What are your thoughts?
@nanascraftyhome4 жыл бұрын
I am happy to help Mary! I just drop mine to the back of my work - whatever is most convenient to you would work. When you work your decrease it is really just stopping and not doing an increase any more. My video tutorial for my Unicorn C2C Scarf shows how to decrease on one side while continuing to decrease on the other which may help make it more clear kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6DGqGalm7NgqNk Let me know if you have any additional questions. 😊

I know what you mean -- when I learned I got easily confused as well! With practice I got a lot better and felt a lot more comfortable with it. Let me know if you need any additional help!

I saw on another video that the said you can work a C2C graph like ready a book and only doing bottom to top for all the rows. Has anyone heard about this? I am confused. I have always done up/down ..up/down. 🤔
@nanascraftyhome Жыл бұрын
For a c2c pattern you would always read the graph from the corner in a diagonal pattern since you are working your stitches diagonally. You can adapt a c2c graph to working tapestry or other row by row stitches as well. I hope that helps!

how do you make a pattern bigger.. Like the one you have there but in a queen size and so on. I can not seem to understand that part.
@nanascraftyhome5 жыл бұрын
Hi Lynda! So you would like to make the butterfly into a queen size blanket? Just one butterfly? If so. you would need to make a new graph and follow my basic graph to enlarge. You can make your own C2C graphs at stitchfiddle.com. If you need instructions on how to make your own graph I do have a video tutorial to help with that at kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4GlhYmoeL-iq80. However, if you don't want to make a new graph I do think you could make a beautiful blanket out of multiple squares of different colored butterflies! Let me know how it goes! 😊

I don’t know if I’m overthinking or underthinking it .. but I can’t grasp the concept of the first square being the wrong side and working up and down the rows. Someone please help 🥴

Have you started to work a c2c graph yet? It may become more clear once you start working through the graph. However, if you email me at nanascraftyhome@gmail.com I do have a written explanation of how to read graphs I could send you via email which may help you.

Where do you go on to get a graph?

Are you looking to create your own graph? If yes, I recommend stitchfiddle.com to create your own. I also have a video tutorial that shows you how to create your own graphs on Stitch Fiddle as well! kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4GlhYmoeL-iq80

Do you ever put a piece of yarn woven through the front side of the first corner to make it less confusing?
@nanascraftyhome5 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is a great idea! It would certainly help keep track of where you are in the pattern!
