I have watched all kinds of videos for learning to do a granny square, a c2c blanket, etc. Every single time, Jayda's videos allowed me to be successful. I have became a much more confident crocheter because of her. I am very grateful! Thank you, Jayda!

I've looked at numerous crochet channels and yours is a Cut Above the Rest. You explain everything very clearly and do so over and over using different ways to describe the same thing which is extremely helpful for a beginner like me. I'm a 65 year old guy that decided, for reasons even I don't fully understand (!), I wanted to learn how to crochet ... and now I'm working on my first baby blanket following your corner to corner tutorial and my wife is stunned and how good it looks! She's going to a baby shower in two days and is going to give the blanket to my niece for the baby boy she's expecting. I'm finding crochet to be incredibly relaxing and it's gratifying to be able to make something with my own hands that I can give to someone as a gift. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorials.

@@JaydaInStitches you're certainly welcome and there's more to the story of the baby blanket ... my wife just gave it to my niece this past weekend and she was blown away. And my wife said the 25 women in the room where all thrilled and shocked that her husband had actually handmade a blanket. Fun stuff.

I agree as well. I noticed another tutorial for CtoC where the teacher was saying that she got so many emails from people who didn’t understand how to do it. She was saying she didn’t know any other way to explain it. Happily I found your tutorial first and you made it so easy. Where can I post a pic to show you.

I have watched multiple video's on this pattern and none were as clear as your's. You go at just the right speed, explain everything one needs to know without making it to confusing by telling us things we don't need to know while you are teaching. I have wanted to make this pattern for a while after this video I finally am. This is the second pattern I have made due to your great instruction and I am sure it won't be the last. Thank you!

I am about to say the same thing as some other comments below but I have been trying to do this for a few months and I just couldn’t figure it out and when all else fails I always come back to your videos you are the first crochet KZbin video I ever seen I’ve been crocheting for about six months and I made my first granny square with you and I was ecstatic I kept waking my husband up for every round that I did because I just couldn’t believe I was doing it I love your videos and I love that your husband is always in them now Mr. stitch it’s so funny and cool to see how it doozy Astec he gets I love it it’s nice when her husband share something that we love so much also but I wanted to tell you you are the best teacher I love and cherish your videos ; no when it came to the decreased that’s a little confusing it’s gonna take me a minute to get that to click in my head because I am such a visual learner I’ll have to watch it over and over again but at least you have patience and I appreciate that and you see the instructions are very clear and I appreciate it so much I just can’t wait for it to click into my head

Wow! You've made this SO easy - thank you, thnk you. This c2c crochet has always been a mystery to me, but you have de-mystified it for me. You're such a good teacher - so patient, explaining everything as you go along, making it so easy to follow along. Can't wait to try something bigger than my little sample piece. I made the Old Country Bridges wrap following your instructions and, although it took me all summer, picking it up, working a few rows, putting it down, going back to it, it's now finished, locked and beautiful. It's going to my sister for her birthday early next year.

Hi Jayda in Stitches! I have to tell you what a fantastic teacher you are! I’ve been crocheting for just a year and 3 months now - Anytime I’ve ever had to learn a new concept or stitch in crochet, I’ve always ended up looking for a tutorial from you. And THAT is when I’ve learned not only how to do it but why, the reason I’m doing whatever the stitch or concept calls for, so I can continue on my own from there on out! In learning C2C, I forgot for a moment and watched 2 or 3 tutorials from other crocheters while being stumped the whole way, until it dawned on me to look your tutorial up for C2C..... Now I know what I’m doing and why! Thank you for being so thorough and explaining things so well!!! You’re truly the best!

I have to tell you you are amazing you are one of the only people that explain how to make a full blanket everybody else just gives you a little square and they think that’s going to help people. The way you go step by step and slowly so we can see each stitch is incredible. I am an intermediate crocheter and I think beginners would find your video very helpful. I keep going back to only your video every time I make another blanket because sometimes I forget what to do and it is so helpful. Keep up the good work you doing a great job!

I've always been "afraid" of the corner to corner blankets thought I wouldn't get it. My daughter asked me to make one for her to give as a shower gift. I watched a few videos couldn't get it. Then I watched yours you made it so easy to understand! Just finished and I love it!! Its my new fav stitch, just bought yarn to make another for my granddaughter this one will be twin size. Thank you you made it so easy for me!!!!

I recently taught this stitch to my teenage daughter...she loves it. We use cakes too foe this & use almost 1 cake before starting to decrease, then use nearly the entire 2nd one on the decrease & border. That plan has worked out so far on several blankets. Thank you for your cheerfulness!!

Hi! I crochet with several folks and we all hold our yarn and needles differently :) I'm always quick to say "there is no right or wrong way to hold your yarn and needle - the right way is what works best for you". Having said that, it's fun to experiment holding your hook and feeding your yarn in different ways, but don't overthink it! Just concentrate on making the stitches and the best way to hold everything will just naturally come to you :)
