Hi your blanket is beautiful I can't wait to make one but I want to make a bigger one how many blocks across and up and down do I need to do so it would fit a queen to king size bed

Hi Amy. Thank you so much. Unfortunately, it depends..... on the yarn you choose, hook size, your tention, etc... I would recommend you make a block and measure it (For example: 15cm*15cm which weighs 5grams) The recommended size for a queen sized blanket is 229*254cm. You will therefore need a blanket that is 15 blocks wide and 17 blocks long. You therefore need 15*17 = 255 blocks in total. So you will need a total of 1275 grams of yarn, for the gingham effect that means that you will need for the dark and medium colour 320grams each and the light colour 640grams. I hope that makes sense.

I cannot see why not? I would recommend going up a hook size for better drape.
