It is January 2013 and I am feeling led to the Epistles of Peter as they are a foundational teaching to us as Christians in these very last days before the return of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As the world becomes ever more worldly we must ask ourselves if we are distancing ourselves from the world or, if asked, would no one have an idea that we were children of the living God. This is a challenging question but, praise God, we have the Holy Spirit in us and He yearns to teach us and lead us in the right direction. I praise God for Pastor Gary Hamrick and other pastors who are willing to teach the Word of God in season and out of season. Maranatha!

Before I say anything else I want to start with I sincerely appreciate that pastor Gary does verse by verse teaching. I have had many revelations as a result of meditating on the Word whilst delighting in these videos. However, a disagreement I feel convicted to make known, I do not believe that we are disconnected from the writings of 1st Peter, it is my firm belief that Christianity will be made illegal, that we will be persecuted unto death for our faith and that there will be a mass falling away from the faith. This is because I believe in a post-tribulation rapture, I hope the pre-trip folks are right. I really do. But I believe post-trib, and I think it is good for us to be of the mind of martyrdom, because it very well may be necessary, and in context would be Mercy, compared to what comes next as it is written. Thank y'all again for the content and commentary, I hope I am not blocked for a difference of opinion.
