It can also be argued that 1st of Nisan was the day the king started his reign(easily found on Wikipedia), not the feast of trumpets. But, since there are no sources cited for any of the things claimed in the video, it is hard to see where this guy gets his information from. But to someone who doesn't question what they are told and just believes something that sounds good without confirming, this guy paints a comforting picture.

But I need detail!! I thought that maybe the Messiah had been born on the feast of Sukkot and this is why the name Immanuel. I have heard the teaching of the first day of Nissan also because of the time where the lambs used to be born in Nissan. Now yours!!! but can you imagine that the constellations would give signs of your birth what a wonderful beautiful thing to behold!!!!!!

Calendars are mixed and corrupted. That is why there is discrepancy. And by historians king Herod that wanted to kill Jesus ,died if I am not mistaken 3 or 4 BC therefore Jesus Christ could not be born later.... Regarding calendars in future Antichrist will try to change times and laws Daniel 7:25 ,so there is high chance that calendars were corrupted by devil himself before in history as well. That is how I see it.

It makes so much sense that Herod would not look for only newborns to be killed, but kids 3yrs and younger because Jesus would have been a toddler by the time the Magi arrived. Light bulb moment 💡

Christ was not born to be a political authority. He was born for spiritual purposes and won't have a political function until His second coming. So why would He be born on the Feast of Trumpets?

Jesus is king of kings and lord of lords. When the Lord's kingdom comes, the Messiah will break the nations into pieces and smash them like pottery (see Psalm 2: 9). His kingdom won't be a political entity like the worldly powers of today, and he won't rule using persuasion or political authority. Instead, he himself will be the highest authority and he will rule with a rod of iron.

Seed may have been translated as "semen" but that could just be because they had no knowledge of what the true seed was, as it was microscopic and contained within the sperm. And yes, the woman, as we all know now, DOES have a seed, it is the ovum, or egg. The woman DOES have a seed and I don't think from the word that means semen we can deduce that God was not talking about the woman having seed. This teaching came awfully close to claiming that Mary was a surrogate, and not the natural mother of Jesus. There are those who teach that, and it would nullify the humanity, or humanness, of Jesus. Absolutely necessary to the gospel.

Rev. Nolan is telling us what the Magi believed. We know astrology is nothing but fortune-telling, but in their day the Magi were taken very seriously. God saw to it that what the Magi saw in the real, physical sky with their own eyes would add confirmation to the fact that Jesus is the promised Messiah. So what Rev. Nolan is teaching is a very valuable Bible backgrounder.

Jesus was born on Sunday March 1, 7BC. The 'Star of Bethlehem' was not an astronomical or cosmological event. Joseph (Jesus' father) formed an alliance with Theudas, the head of the Therapeutes. The 2 warrior mode gave themselves titles taken from an OT verse. Joseph was the 'Star' (of David), and Theudas was the 'Scepter'. The West Manasseh Magi were a priestly caste of Samaritan philosophers founded in 44BC by Menahem and later led by Simon Zelotes. The Magians were Joseph's political associates. When they 'followed the star' they were agreeing with Joseph that a new Davidic king (Jesus) had been born. Because they recognized him as king, they were accepting him as legitimate.

This is not very Biblical, the moon is its own light and doesn't reflect the sun. Stars are angels in the Bible as are wandering stars. What you are teaching is not Biblical. Planets don't move back and forth but angelic wandering stars do. The earth is flat and stationary and the sun, moon and stars move above us. If your going teach about the stars please do it right. The sun moves not the earth according to the Bible.
