Physician for 30 years.Lifelong atheist, and I have most things in common with this colleague other than his belief in a god. Just like nearly every other doctor who I come across regardless of their beliefs.

Really surprised your a doctor and you don't believe in God, the phone you have was created by people and people are much more advanced than that phone, people were created by God, and he loves us ❤️ 🙏

@@andrewrcmadwilkinson6999 He doesn't "stop" cancer- he heals it.. does that make sense? sometimes he let's us struggle through it but he's always there. It's called 'faith' - having the assurance and hope .. btw, we don't control God - he controls us - , that's the first flaw and danger of your question. You ask "If you wish to make people better why does God not stop cancer?" Is completely rubbish. It's asssuming that God can stop cancer BECAUSE WE wish - "It is not because we chose him - it's because he chose us" but he will Heal - not stop - cancer because HE wills. When humans try to think they can control him really - chaos ensues. choosing our own will not accepting God's perfect and believing it's acceptable is not what God wants. He will heal not because WE control him - but because He wills it - and if we submit to his will - not exercise our own fallen will.. God will be glorified.

@@andrewrcmadwilkinson6999 no such thing as a good or bad Christian buddy :) Life here on earth can be messy - even for, like you say, "good Christians". I understand why you're half mad at the whole concept of a Christian that has good morals ect. but experiences something as awful as cancer. But here's the thing, everything is about that person's relationship with God, The Spirit and Jesus. Nothing else.
