Never go to Rick Stein's, in Padstow I always go to Chip Ahoy, lovely fish and chips that are reasonably priced 👍

@juliegreenan2244 I keep hearing good things about chip ahoy. Rick Steins lives because of the name attached to it. Tried it when it first opened years ago and it was ok. The quality dropped over time though.

@darkbulbs thanks so much! It's good to have you here. £16 isn't the cheapest, but I was more than happy with that price for the quality of the food. It is well worth a visit, in my opinion.

What a rip off that price is the equivalent of $32.40 Australian Dollars for less the $1 worth of chips, a hunk of fish $8-$9, 2 bucks for a sausage and $3 for a drink.

@speedwaymac33 There are much more expensive places around. Unfortunately, the UK is ridiculously overpriced these days. This chippy isn't too bad for the quality. You pay much more for less food in the touristy areas. 😭
