It was all hyping up for this scene. Even t he front of TV choice said “max gets even quit Daniel with tragic consequences”. This was hardly tragic, they could have made it seem more like he was seriously damaged, maybe had him in a coma. It wasn’t as dramatic as it was made out to be in the spoilers.

If you don't remember Jez Quigley, he was a Drug Dealer on Coronation Street in 1999 and 2000 whom is known for using a Baseball Bat to hurt or kill others, notably Steve McDonald, Leanne Battersby, and Tony Horrocks. Just as Jez Quigley is known for using Baseball Bats as a weapon to harm others, Daniel Osbourne is now pushing people down the stairs.

I like Daniel he is my favourite character, but he does have a dark side which we have seen before. I think he is a good man but if he is pushed (no pun) he will turn to a darker side. I do actually really like him with Daisy though I adored him and Sinead together and I wasn't keen at first but they do work together and clearly have feelings for eachother.

@@LittleMixFan-cf8mf yes I know David & Shona aren't Max's biological parents - but they are the closest people Max has got as parents even though he doesn't call them mum & dad. Max's birth mum Kylie (David's first wife) is dead & Max's biological dad Callum Logan is also dead - but he wasn't much to a dad to Max anyway when he was alive. David's been more of a father figure to Max than Callum ever was. Plus David's new spouse Shona has stepped in being a new mother figure by bringing up David's stepson Max & his daughter Lily (David's biological child with the late Kylie). Especially that Shona doesn't have contact with her own son (who's banged up for murder). Being a parent isn't about blood/biology. It's about being there for a child physically & emotionally & loving them & teaching them things, etc. Lots of people adopt/bring up kids that's not biologically theirs. Anyway Max has deffo got serious issues & David & Shona need to step up & do something to sort Max out. Max is gonna do a whole lot worse next time which could result in him being jailed or even killed one day if he's not careful. Mark my words! Yes I agree the original actor who played Max was better but since he's been recast. Sadly it may be unlikely the character of Max is gonna be switched back to the previous actor. Might as well get used to the current new actor.

While Max's actions were out of line, it still didn't give Daniel a license to shove him down the stairs and potentially resulting in long term injury and paralysis which he will be totally responsible for the rest of his life. Daniel also knowingly shoved Max from behind while close to the stairs, and he tumbled because of it. Since Daniel knew that Max was next to the stairs when he shoved him, resulting in Max tumbling down the stairs and causing serious injury, I would not be surprised if cops charge him with Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm. If Daniel did that in my country, Canada, he would have got charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and Aggravated Assault for sure.
