I thought Max was genuinely empathetic and distraught what David told him. Especially, seeing as how he said "I'm sorry dad" and the look on his face - he seemed like he was about to cry. Now though I'm not sure seeing as how he has used this to wreck Daniel's life again.

he is empathetic to this atleast, he got pissed at Daniel bc he made David relive everything that happened so in a weird way Max did it bc of what Daniel did to David

Not necessarily true. Sure it isn't his business as such, but if I knew something like that had happened to a loved one, I'd want to know. My partner wanted to know who raped me and I had to tell him it was his brother. Sometimes it's easier actually knowing the who behind the crime.

I'm not sure I like the actor who plays max... He's not what I imagined max to be, growing up, and for the amount of anger he's supposed to have he's not quite executing it for me. 🤔🤔

I think that he's good. Voice a bit weak but he's believable for an older guy playing a boy of fifteen. Would be good to see how Max would cope with a relationship of his own perhaps with an older girl/woman.
