I like the look! Good build job! I’m sure it took longer than you cared for, but most rewarding things do!

That’s really cool! I might try the same thing for mine. I actually went with the first hinges you proposed for my hood tilt. Nice custom work, great job!

Looks good. Maybe paint a big Ford logo on it or a old Mail pouch tobacco sign.

Great idea! An old weathered billboard sign of some sort would look pretty neat. Thanks for watching!

I think it's perfect, as would be done in the day . And vinyl rots this will last .

Great idea! Are you going to put wheatear seal around?
@FadedPaintGarage Жыл бұрын
No, I figure I can use sealed totes or a toolbox for things that need to stay real dry.

well engineered. still looks suitably redneck

Will it be crazy noisy for you ?
@FadedPaintGarage2 жыл бұрын
No noise so far, went for a cruise around town, hit several good bumps and no rattles or anything. I was worried about that but so far it's tight as a drum. The hood pins keep it closed real tight.

I have watched every video on the 56! I am doing a 55 with a 2003 f150 4.6 and trans! I have a tone of questions. How wide were you able to go on your rear axle without rubbing the renders?
@FadedPaintGarage2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome, thanks for watching! You can use a wider axle from stock (to a point) but you'd need to run a modern positive offset wheel. My axle is a little narrower than stock and I'm running an 8" rim 0 offset that barely fits. Here is a good video that gives you an idea of how to measure that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnrUg2t7hrF8icU
