BUILDING A BUDGET TONEAU COVER for Under $100! (EASY with basic tools)

In this video I show you guys how I make my tonneau covers for my trucks. I like wood because it looks rustic. It matches the old Squarebody trucks and they are really easy to make.
2 sheets of 1/2 inch plywood
14 ft - 1x1 1/8 angle iron
Screws

You could use hood pins instead of wing nuts for quick removal or lower profile

You could put a piano hinge in the middle and let the back piece raise up.

Great idea. How about adding piano hinges for functionality and some type of rain guard tarp to keep water out. Not th mention I have a tool box
