Man you wouldn’t dream of it but I just bought a patina’d bumper myself today as my chassis didn’t come with one, looked at it and thought that needs to be cut back. Flicked on the old KZbin and bam you were doing the same thing. Fate I’m sayin. Great series bud, loving every video.

Good idea polishing the metal and clear coating it. I'll have to try that out.

Do you think those extra holes behind the bumper are for a brush guard ? Great idea to use one existing hole. That keeps the bumper straight with the body if the frame horns aren't bent.

I'm not sure why those extra holes are there from the factory, that's a good guess.

Do you have a video lowering the stance of the truck?

The chassis I'm using already had the volare front clip installed and the rear axle flipped and frame c-notched. I had another volare clip I was going to install in my own frame but this one came up for sale locally so I went that route instead.

Hey Brother. About how much did you cut off the frame ?

How high is it from the top of the front frame to the ground and the top of the wood bed to the floor? I am trying to figure out how high to lower mine. That looks like a good height.

It is 10" from ground to the top of the bumper and 21" from ground to the top of the bed floor
