You could built it inside an adjustment layer instead of a fusion composition, than you could keep the glas efects (blur, transform ect). The Media In will catch whatever you place under the Layer. The masking should work too. Cheers

What a great work, thank you very much. Best regards from Germany :) Do you have a simple trick to switch the hwole composition to the right side?
@VideoEditorStudio2 жыл бұрын
There's not any very easy way to do it to my knowledge. The easiest way I can think of is to add a Transform node and use the horizontal flip parameter but if you apply that at the end it will also flip the text which you don't want so you'll need to individually flip the text as well: - Apply the transform at the end of your composition and filp the composition. And the go to each text node and change the Direction to "Reverse Horizontal" (In text node / text tab) and go change the Y Rotation to 180 (In the text node / transform tab)

great tutorial again, thanks ! how do you keep churning them out at such a high rate...?? 😵😄 i don't quite understand what you're doing with the clips thing in the fusion page at 16:25 though...?😵💫 why do you need to need to create a new composition there ? didn't you already create the new composition by duplicating the first one in the edit page ? also i expected you to instance the polygon masks, with an offset added in some way, instead of making three separate masks... wouldn't that have the advantage of being able to adjust their shape, movement, etc... more easily if needed ? thanks again for these great, very practical tips !! 🤛

Thanks for all your question! Just trying to block one day a week to bulk record some tutorials and through out the week someone in the team is editing them. It's a high rhythm but as long as I have ideas I'll keep pushing them out until I start to run dry and then maybe I'll go down in publication to 2-3 videos per week. Sorry I should have been more precise there. Creating a new composition isn't needed, but I like to do that so it's easy to switch back to the first slideshow if I want and adjust the order. I rarely do it in tutorials because it's a "one shot" kind of thing where I know already what I'll be doing but whenever I'm working on creating something new I often use "create new comp" to serve as a back up so I can always come back to an older version of the the comp and don't have to start from the beginning if i break something along the way. Offsetting using a time speed node could have been an alternative but in my opinion doing it individually create the best animation and is easier to conceptualise for a beginner I think. There's always multiple ways to do the same thing in fusion, there might be some even better way using expression. I'm just generally picking something because it's easy to explain/understand for beginner and because it's how I do it most of the time just cause it make sense to me. Thank you for your comment!

@@VideoEditorStudio haha, don't apologize, man ! 😄😄 your videos are awesome !🏆 i'm not an absolute beginner-beginner and i use DVR only for home videos, but i still find them very useful. thank you for the reply ! interesting idea to use 'create new comp' as a way to keep back ups... 🤔
