That's kinda wild. I'm certain that this will either lead to overtorqued fasteners or damage done from hydrolocking lol

Technically, none are correct, because the instructions for Permatex Threadlocker BLUE - Medium Strength state, “Threadlocker is for use on metal parts and is not to be used on plastics.”…🤦🏻‍♂️

Given the wide spread skepticism of this vid in the comments section. I decided to seek the omnipotent oracle aka all the knowing ChatGPT RESPONSE: (skip to point #4.) “Threadlocker is a type of adhesive that is commonly used to secure threaded fasteners, such as bolts and screws, in place to prevent them from loosening due to vibrations or other factors. Here's a general guide on how to use threadlocker effectively: 1. Preparation: Start by gathering the necessary materials, including the threadlocker itself, the fasteners you want to secure, and any tools required to access the fasteners. 2. Clean the threads: Ensure that the threaded area is clean and free from any oil, grease, or debris. Use a degreaser or cleaning agent to remove any contaminants from the surface. 3. Select the appropriate threadlocker: There are different types and strengths of threadlockers available, such as low, medium, and high strength. Choose the one that matches your specific requirements. The product label or manufacturer's instructions can help you determine the right type to use. 4. Apply the threadlocker: Open the threadlocker container and apply a small amount to the first few threads of the fastener. Be cautious not to apply too much, as excess threadlocker can create a mess and potentially affect the fastener's performance. 5. Secure the fastener: Insert the fastener into the threaded hole and tighten it to the desired torque specification. The threadlocker will start to set as soon as it comes into contact with metal and air. 6. Cure time: Different threadlockers have varying cure times, so consult the product instructions for specific guidance. Generally, it's advisable to wait for at least 24 hours before subjecting the fastener to any stress or vibration. 7. Cleanup: If excess threadlocker has squeezed out during the fastening process, it can be cleaned up using an appropriate solvent specified by the manufacturer. Make sure to follow safety precautions and disposal guidelines when handling solvents. Remember to read and follow the instructions provided by the threadlocker manufacturer carefully, as specific products may have unique application methods or recommendations. Additionally, keep in mind that threadlocker is a permanent or semi-permanent solution, and removing the fastener in the future may require heat or specialized tools, depending on the strength of the threadlocker used.”
