I've been doing it for awhile and the cysts and roughness is already gone. I also switched to washing my face with a dove soap bar. I moisturize with aveeno baby eczema cream that comes in a tube with a light blue cap. My skin feels so much better!

Michael Robinson No more than 15 seconds at a time. They sell a roller that your can go over your face for 20 min. You just dont want to keep direct ice on your face for too long. In the morning when in a hurry, I dunk my whole face in Ice water a few times. I work in a downtown LA where theres lots of pollution and my skin is oily. I use a mild cleanser and and ice and no more breakout.

Hi Al-ameen! You can put the ice directly on the skin as long as you do not hold it in any one spot for a long period of time, Ice can burn just like heat. You can roll it over once or you can use up the entire cube.. It doesn't matter as long as it's moving. Thank you for asking!

I kept the ice on one spot for about 20m 😂 because when I was moving the ice around I feel like it was not doing anything. Then when I had it on for 20m I seen it gone down so much. Like I have a bad pimple. It’s hard. It looks nasty. I have a hard time leaving it alone. But the ice helped so much and I hardly can tell there is a pimple there now. Tell I look at it. But it’s getting so much better. Probably when it’s smaller I won’t keep the ice on for 20m hopefully it dose something.

My face is often dry, lots of acne and red. After washing my face with dove sensitive soap twice a day I ice my face, morning and at night. After, I put on a moisturizer/sunblock (in the morning) and in the evenings I put on an aloe vera gel. Do you think that this might be too harsh on my skin? I want to help soothe it and reduce acne but I am worried that I might be damaging it with all of those items.

Hi there! It doesn't sound too hard (those are gentle products) and the icing will definitely bring down the inflammation and redness from the acne, but without seeing your skin personally, there is no real way to know. Best course would be to try it out 2 times a week first and see how it goes! If not too irritated, then you can slowly integrate more! ;-)

Yes! Aside from the fact that it reduces redness and inflammation, it's also a natural exfoliant- it's superficially burns the surface skin (like freezer burn in a way) so Whatever product you put on next will penetrate deeper. Your moisturizer will work better! Another thing, when you put meat in the freezer, it preserves...So icing your skin is also an anti-aging trick.

Apply rose water/aloe gel then use ice. Then after that use serum and then sunscreen. I would recommend using green tea ice cubes since it would act as an ampoule/essence to your skincare routine.

I've been doing research about using ice on face and some article states that serum goes first before icing the face as it helps seal in the serum. But reading the comments, it said that serum goes after. Which one is correct? I'm having really bad breakout and I just want to treat my face. Everyone has a different opinion and please keep in mind, nothing is fact. I BELIEVE that icing before product is the way to go. Ice is a sort of 'freezing' which is a natural exfoliation. The best time to introduce a product is when it's clean and exfoliated. The product penetrates deeper. You'll ask 20 different people and get 20 different answers. This is just MY opinion. Go with what works best for you! And yes, the sequence you wrote above is correct ;-)
