Also, the fuel is in the wings. The main fuselage would be the only part that doesn't explode. In reality, while the wing is scraping the ground it would leave a flaming trail of death. NASA actually intentionally crashed a remotely controlled Boeing (and ripped open the wings while doing so) to learn about how the fire actually develops and spreads. They captured the whole thing in slow motion from multiple angles. This is one of the cases where reality far outshines fiction. These video they captured is absolutely insane: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpS1qol7e6mafa8

7:38 yeah the plane wing would most likely snap off. Maybe once in the middle and then closer to the fuselage. It would also cause some whiplash so the plane would start spinning a tiny bit instead of continuing straight like it does.
@WadsworthGaming
@WadsworthGaming 3 жыл бұрын
10 months late, but no, none of that would happen. the plane in The Knowing actually crashes pretty realistically, right up intil the actual fuselage contacts the ground, after that, not so much. Plane wings are strong, and the mid section of most airliners are some of the strongest parts on a plane, but not strong enough to cause cartwheeling motion once they collide with the ground, especially not at speed
@halfgecko3202
@halfgecko3202 3 жыл бұрын

But their ability to get promoted to other people who haven't seen it is almost entirely based on return views from subbed users, as YT tries to cut down one-hit wonder channels that get massive amounts of revenue from one thing. Coming back from the feed, liking and commenting is nowhere near as impactful to KZbin as subscribing. Doing just feed views limits their ability to expand, and as subs drop off OR stop watching when people discontinue channels, overall they experience a drop in viewership.

I’ve always found the “Like and Subscribe” thing people do in videos interesting...I’ve never done either because they told me to or reminded me I could. If I liked the video, then I’ll Like. If they have a lot of good stuff, then I’ll Subscribe. But saying it must have some impact statistically since it is the norm to say it in videos.
