Corroded Fulton flashlight repair attempt Part 2

The Fulton flashlight company is alive and well in Ohio. They sell parts for your flashlight as well as led conversion kits. Or, you can buy an led replacement bulb at a good hardware store.

Pls tell me u are still here i got a few questions 1. the flash light is full of rust what do i do 2. I dont think the switch is moveing the metal piece inside that should move when the switch is used 3. Does the rust stops the flashlight from working cause mine dosent work and got all the problems above 4. How to clean every metal part in the flashlight and coil from rust?

Unfortunately i wouldn't know how to repair one properly, i tried soaking it in vinegar to remove the rust and corroded battery discharge, which cleaned the flashlight nicely but hasn't worked regardless..i'm afraid yours is as fubar-ed as mine

Saddd i fond out my switch is not working the part is stuck because of the rust that might be the problem for both of us​@@thatpackguy

@@daka3253 the vinegar bath helped get the rust off but i don't think soaking it fully helped either..
