It is hard to say I would say mostly lowering corruption increase GDP is more logical. While increasing real GDP to corruption, Doesn't it seem similar to South Korean economic growth and corruption perceptions index? You can check from 6:15 to 6:53 Can have no relationship between GDP per capita and the corruption perceptions index in low and middle-income countries.

How stupid one can get to even consider that corruption can be good for the country? I live in Brazil, corruption schemes - based on studies of UN - is reaching U$1.2 trillion yearly. Imagine how many people have died only because our politicians, instead of investing in the needed areas, chose investments that could benefit only themselves.
