I did use two Logitech office mices, another compact office mice and Sharkoon Drakonia around ten years or so ago for a while. And my last mice which I had purchased myself was the Glorious Model O- which painstakingly malfunctioned in a month or so. The cable kept disconnecting each time which was super frustrating considering it was the first mice I paid the full price for which barely lasted a month and some inferior mice from almost a decade ago lasted me over half a decade. This is ridiculous. Anyway - I am considering this Corsair after researching the entire internet and finally having stumbled upon this. I saw em all, Lanzu Atlantis, logi g pro and blah blah, a bunch of overly glorified office mices for a massive price point. I swear, anything that has barely any buttons on, is just a mere office mice to me and a major ripoff regardless of some tactile switch marketing, I couldn't care less. In my opinion, the more you pay the more you should get. Be it buttons or overall accessories. Buuut I'm looking for a lot of buttons or additional buttons because I'd like a mice as a extension to my TKL keyboard since it lacks buttons as well. Like a smartwatch that's a extension to your smartphone

Great question Tony! The wired version does not… I haven’t found a use for gestures yet to where I find myself using it regularly so I wouldn’t base a decision on gestures capabilities personally. I might find something that gestures provides that could change my mind so who knows!

I have the same m65 Ellite but the left click stopped working or double clicks sometimes, Just got the ultra hopefully it lasts

i fixed the doubleclicks by opening the top lid and sprayed the clicker directly with Electrical Cleaner Aerosol Spray

Hello all, has anyone tried the CORSAIR GLAIVE RGB wired yet and how does it compare to Corsair M65 Elite wired or Ultra wireless please?

Yes! My first gaming mouse was the Glaive! I liked that it had swappable thumb side grips and it was my first mouse I used with side buttons. The M65 was actually a direct upgrade from the Glaive so that's when I got my Elite. I would say both are very comparable in size and feel. The thumb grip is fixed on the M65 but I never had any issues with the placement. If you play any FPS games then the extra sniper button on the M65 is worth going with on its own. The switches and sensors are better on the M65 than the Glaive but the Glaive still holds up. Either way you are still getting a great mouse🖱️💯

Also on accidentally getting it, I think black was the default before they designed white. It looked bad in the pictures but really good in real life

I'm noticing Corsair releasing new products in black first before releasing a white version. Makes sense from a business standpoint to test out a product line first.

Just wondering if it's possible to swap the covers so you hace the one-piece on the wireless one? Depends if the clips are in the same place I guess. I've taken my M65 Elite apart before for cleaning so would be comfortable doing that if i didnt like the new clicks 😅

Wow you took yours apart!? I'm even too scared to do that for just cleaning! Would make for a cool video if I was able to swap the bodies/clicks but more scared of losing the warranty on the Ultra lol

I got one yesterday and really agree that the ultra while nice, feels kind of like a jankier upsell. What made the elite great was that it was allowed to just focus on one thing (high dpi) and be really good at it because it was budget oriented/

YES! I'm still torn between the two and still use them both! That wasn't my original plan cuz I thought I would want to see the elite right after getting the ultra to feel better about paying that price but here I am 😄

My mouse won’ go wireless for some reason any suggestions?

Hi! I have had minor issues with keeping my mouse wireless after iCUE or my PC has restarted. What I have had to do a few times is plug it into your PC, then with iCUE open, turn on wireless mode using to bottom switch, then unplug the mouse. Let me know if that helps! I also recommend resetting the mouse if that strategy doesn't help the connectivity. Let me know if you have any more questions or issues!

How to factory reset M65 1.Turn off your wireless mouse. 2.Hold down the left and right mouse buttons. 3.While holding down the mouse buttons, turn the mouse back on. 4.After around 5 seconds, release the buttons. 5.With your hand off the mouse. You will see an LED flash if it resets successfully.

Huh that's interesting. I just got the M65 Ultra Wired and it does have the Rgb lights on the back like your elite. Maybe it's just the wireless which doesn't have that. Weird!

I think it has something to do with the M65 Ultra Wireless needing to include a battery which takes up space and weight. Not to mention the power draw that the extra RGB lights have on the wireless mouse's battery. Now I'm jealous... Every time you look at the back lights, remember how lucky you are to enjoy them and how sad I am I don't have them on my M65 Ultra Wireless😭😄

The Corsair M65 Elite is the newer model over the M65 Pro. M65 Pro was released in 2016. M65 Elite was released in 2019. M65 Ultra was released in 2022.
