First I will say finally they released a wireless RGB mechanical keyboard and its about time now I only hope they continue and actually release a full keyboard with a numpad or one with at least one with dedicated arrow keys. Also another reason why I think they're calling it they're most customizable keyboard is because you can also change the bottom accent bar which I will admit it is pretty cool in my opinion. After looking into it a bit more the "accent" is just the front piece and not the whole bottom housing like I thought which makes it pretty lame now 😑

The new k65 pro mini with OPX sounds and feels so much better, keys are smoother thanks to the better opx switch vs mx speed, and now they put damping materials, the keyboard no longer sounds hollow. This K70 pro mini IMHO feels just like the much cheaper K60 pro TKL, and that one at least has OPX, not MX speed.

5:28 I get the point of "if you spend 180 bucks you gotta have something ready to use and perfect" but people can still lube the switches and you'll have a pretty excellent experience. That being said. 180 bucks for this? I spent 80 total for my LK67 and it's completely custom.

Well I do understand you may not like so much what they did since you look a lot at the switches and those may be not as you wish them to be. I do however criticize you in terms of talking about the biggest pro it has which in my opinion definitely is that you may decide if u want to use Bluetooth, Frequenzy or the cable (while you do say that it comes too short in my opinion) and I have yet to find another 60% keyboard that allows all of these. I do know about some that allow cable and Bluetooth but as far as I know the Wooting 60HE for example which has the switches you would consider good e.g. ONLY runs on cable (at least if I am not mistaken). So for people who may not be looking for the one kind of switch they like but rather for a 60%, little bit customizable and wireless gaming keyboard it doesn't sound as bad as I think you make it seem. However I do agree that 180 or even 160 which it is now is still too much I think it would fit in at a around 120 or 130 maybe ?

Left my K70 RGB after about 6+ years (I had the older, on rgb version before it), for a gmmk2 (96%) keyboard. I must say, not only was it less expensive, but the quality is higher & there's no need to de-solder switches for lubing or *cleaning*.. The only thing I can say Corsair has at this point in time anymore- is just the RGB software/control. That's it. I've since learned & seen for myself there are so many great alternatives & even better features available on others brands. The beauty of it also being, they come in every price bracket you can imagine. The fact they priced that thing at $180 is about as hilarious as it is ludicrous; when you have alternatives at even HALF the price, with hot-swappable switches, BT/2.4gz/wired capable, aluminum construction, and- actually lubricated switches and stabilizers (my god, this shouldn't be something to have to mention for a bullet point smh), etc etc... I don't know if they're perhaps under the influence of something- but it's definitely curious to see :)

People are still gonna buy this keyboard because they only know Corsair, Logitech and Razer. Good people if you really want a good keyboard, there are many brands who make prebuilt keyboards that are close to custom keyboard level without having to learn about keyboard modding and have 99% of the features you would like from this Corsair keyboard (wireless 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth, RGB, hotswap, 1Khz polling rate, macros with QMK/VIA or the software from the manufacturer). Just bought another Microsoft ergonomic keyboard for $50 and it's an excellent typing experience for me. My wrists can't handle straight keyboards for any length of time and the MS brown key action, size, spacing, and layout are excellent. I would prefer a physically split keyboard and separate number pad so I can arrange it for different purposes (like mouse in the middle) for gaming and productivity, but I'm not happy with the available options in that area - so MS Ergo is its for me. Last week or so, I was trying out the K70 TKL... I liked the keys and the iCue app, and the volume wheel... and that's about it o.0 The downside for me was the dimly lit LEDs. Even turning the LEDs to white only, and brightness to Max, it was as bright as the lowest setting on my older Logi G610 0.o I originally bought the Logi k/b for the brighter white LEDs as my desk area isn't brightly lit, but I need lower lighting for my eyes, but slightly brighter on my k/b, and the G610 gave me that. However, it's getting on (almost 6 yrs now) with the volume wheel getting wonky etc. I tried other k/b, as well, looking for good key and esp the lighting factor. I tried a cheapy Amazon special with white caps, but the blue LEDs were too dim, same for the G413 TKL with white LEDs with 3 settings, and again, not very bright! Then I found the HyperX (Dmitri will luv this name) Alloy Origins Core TKL etc etc LOL The k/b app, Ngenuity, is iffy once you get the hang of it... but the big seller was the very bright LEDs!! 4 settings, like my old G610, with RGB as well ;) So, it's white for regular work, and colours for gaming. You have 3 profiles you can store on the board's memory, you just need to totally exit the app, so it doesn't interfere with the profiles and switching etc. AND it was on sale too!! Which was nice as the first one I bought had clacky Blues, but I one I got has Cherrys, and I also swapped out some of the caps for the HyprX black and white pudding caps I bought last year to jazz up my older k/b.. sounds weird, but I like the eclectic look of the board now ;) Thanks for sharing, D !!

The stabs felt really bad, geez I know I became kind of a keeb snob when it comes to acoustics, but bro you can't have a stab job this dirty at this pricepoint. The cheaper wired K65, I could almost forgive, as it was one of the many problems the board had besides that, and those ones would make it a bad value even if the stabs were properly lubed and tuned. It really kills me that smaller brands have acces to factories that can do a correct lube job on the stabs and actually making them sound great, and the giant compamy that Corsai, Razer, Logitech are just simply can't. And they're all charging su[er high prices, sometimes getting into custom keeb territory, while still retaining really bad and blatant oversights in the conception or tuning of the board. Damn.

Save yourself the trouble and get the logitech g915 tkl tactile. Led is way lighter, less chance of misclick while gamning due to low key size, full layout without using fn then pressing a desired key for an action. I can keep going on and on. do not get this esp if you do not have a true desktop setup/ ie using home theater pc / gaming on bed. The high keys will make it impossible to play without mis clicks. if this is your first gaming keyboard and you never used full sized cherry mx keycaps then it will frustrate you so much. My opinion, if you want a open switch system, get a full/tkl version of cherry mx and hurry and buy a low profile keyset.

I just want them to make my current keyboard, the K95 RGB Pro, wireless. Why is it so impossible? Mechanical keys don't consume power!

They need to make the K95 and K70 not develop key chatter first. Why create more things to break when they have not already fixed previous issues with their keyboards? I got key chatter in 10 months and when they told me I would get a refurbished item now I am wondering if I should try cleaning the switches with alcohol as many have suggested. I mean... if I get a refurbished keyboard it is probably one where someone already tried that before returning it to corsair anyway lol. Corsair is junk!

The "features" listed can be found on most, if not all, Gamakay/GK boards. Ain't worth $180 tbh.

The Corsair or the Logitech. Avoid razer keyboards. They make a good 12 key (the naga) that is better than the scimitar and logitechs knock off version, and that’s the only razer peripheral I would recommend. Corsair keyboards are imo better than anything else on the market for the price you pay. Don’t worry about key delay or any of that shit. Find one that sounds and feels good under your fingers. I promise you this guy can’t actually tell the quality of the switch as easily as he’s trying to show here.

Looks like a great board but no way is that worth $180. That price needs to come down by over 30% before people should even think about it.

Lmao get a keychron q4 instead, it's cheaper and better in every way. Full aluminum, foam filled, via/qmk compatable, south facing rgb, hot swappable, and an actually good quality sound. Gaming brands just cannot compete.. it's not even close.
@EkajArmstro Жыл бұрын
The keychron q4 doesn't have wireless. And if you care about games at all this has 1.1 ms wireless latency and the keychron q4 has an absolutely horrible 11.3 ms wired latency.

Never buying corsair again. Purchased the RGB keyboard and mouse 2 years ago. The keyboard has issues with keys repeating, and the mouse cuts in and out at random points. Also the keyboard takes up 2 usb ports. Never again.

This looks like one of those keyboards that you would rather display on a keeb pegboard rather than use as far as I can tell.
