You'd use the included 3.5mm cable, but you'll also need to get a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter since iPhones after the iPhone 7 no longer have headphone jacks on them.

lol i use arctis gamedac with replaced/moded beyerdynamic speakers and razer memory foam earpads it feels hela lit listening music also when the ending did hit here i really did feel that on my moded headphones XD

Can you completely turn off the sidetone? I am really not a fan of sidetone and hope it can be muted in the app.

Yep! You can set the sidetone to ''0" with the slider

Sidetone is a feature that allows you to hear yourself through the mic while wearing the headset. Some people prefer to hear the ambient of the room when wearing headphones that isolate noise.

No, they do not have Bluetooth. You'd need to use the 3.5mm cable option.

they do last 20hrs if you turn off the rgb

No unfortunately, but I like how you think! RGB lighting does use more energy, but nowhere enough to cause the battery life that we experienced. Thanks for the comment!

@@2GuysTek Well, I have the exact same model (and had the white Virtuoso before that) and for me, RGB off (since I don't see them anyway), DO last something close to 20 hours. I can easily do 2 full days of gaming over the weekend and the Friday before normally so that's really close to that. I don't have the exact count but they are good on a charge for a looong time, at least in my case.

... and wanted to add that using RGB, they drop to less than half in duration, in the range of 6 to 8 hours, I think. It's been a while since I had RGB on them but it was a dramatic difference.

That's a great data point, thank you! We didn't specifically test battery life with the LEDs off since they're on by default and Corsair doesn't specifically say "20 hours without LED lighting". However, for someone on the fence about getting these cans, if turning off the lighting is a fair compromise for battery life, then more power to 'em! Thanks for the comment!

I wonder if mic usage also makes a difference. The reviewer mentioned being on conference calls. Maybe that eats battery faster than just listening?

These really aren’t even that expensive for a gaming headset. But at the same time they’re not worth that price. The comfort is terrible on them. You should have waited 3 more months for the new Corsair Virtuoso XT. They’re the best wireless gaming headset on the market right now. Very good comfort, still have the best microphone on a gaming headset, dual Bluetooth, and really good build quality! Now the XT is quite expensive. $270

I have lots of respect for corsair for making quality products, even if at such a price as.. well.. their prices... What i mean is that they at least don't just take an excessive amount of money, and give you the same thing that you could get cheapo from china. :D

@@2GuysTek they sound and work way better with usb communication instead of bt but if you equalize the audio and turn on the 7.1 you could make them sound so crisp
