A swiftech H220 fits easily. Tried n Tested. Good to know. For a custom water cooled loop build. Notes: Have the filler port facing out. You can have it the other way but with a 140mm (max) fan+rad on the front it wont clash with the main rad but you will need to remove it to get to the filler port on the inside. But other than that, only other problems there is to deal with is the front I/O USB n Audio Connectors need some special consideration about routing and as expected with the m/b choose wisely. If you run a FM2+ your ATX power nylon clip is likely alongside the radiator so may just need to cut off a bit of nylon plastic.

@4:16"The positive for each connector will be on the left with the print facing you." Also indicated by the black arrow on the connector head too. Really would have been nice to have that in the printed manual! Thx for the vid though, saved me having them all hooked up backwards.

Thank you for the video. I followed it and had my build working at first try. A comment about all this complain regarding cable management: the purpose of the video is to give you the steps to build the systam. I did my own cable arrangement, so should you.
@Aimela13610 жыл бұрын
I personally would have used a motherboard with both the 24-pin and CPU power slots more toward the front of the case, making it so that the cables aren't going over the motherboard, giving a cleaner look and slightly better airflow.

I'm having trouble fitting my H100i in the case. Either i put it in with the radiator hoses unable to fit next to the upper most USB/PS2 connections, or I put it with the hoses in the front, in which case I'm having trouble clearing the intake fan. What do?
@reddevil21128710 жыл бұрын
Is it important for the radiator fans to be on the inside, while the radiator it self is facing the side panel? The 250D build I just brought home from my local computer store has the fans facing the side panel....and most probably blowing air out. Is this the right config? any help would be much appreciated!

Corsair thanks for that video, it will help many to see about real dimensions and posibilities of that grat case. What about H105 and 250D? I'd like to see video or list of Corsair Cases compatibile to new Hydro Series H105 with 38mm radiator. We got lots of issues with mounting that raidator. For example with Obsidian 350D and Asus Z87 Maximus Gene we couldn't mount radiator on top, because there is no room for that. And why are U using AF120LED IF U R usually recomending SP120 coolers?
@scpulp10 жыл бұрын
The H105 isn't compatible with the 250D; the 250D was designed specifically to be exactly wide enough for the H100i. We offer the H105 as an alternative similar to the H110; if you can fit a 280mm radiator, we suggest the H110. If you have extra clearance for a 240mm radiator but can't fit a 280mm, then that's where the H105 comes in. As far as using LED AF120s instead of standard SP120s, as I mentioned above, I decided to make the trade-off for style over performance. The SP120s will perform better, but since I'm not hammering the 4770K with this build, I figured the aesthetics would get more mileage.

I know it's several months later, but I have the h100i v2, and this case, and it's ayers and no. Technically it doesn't, it rubs and won't mount correctly, but I was able to offset it to a slight angle and it fits without stressing anything, it just only has I think 3 of the 8 mounting screws in, which is fine if you're not shipping it.

@AtomicAJ748 жыл бұрын
Ordinarily I would agree with you, but not this time. This is a mini-ITX system, and the build I plan on has a motherboard with an M.2 connector on the back of the motherboard. This would normally mean almost no air flow on the M.2 in this case. Inverting the power supply will generate air flow over the M.2. Also, if you build this case with positive pressure (meaning a bigger fan than they one Corsair provides), they power supply should be just fine. The trade off here is you won't know if your power supply's fan is operating/failing. If it does, then you have a serious problem. It's a risk I'm willing to take.

@scpulp10 жыл бұрын
horsec92 So a lot of the parts were used simply because we had them languishing in the cage in the back, and this build was designed to give my girlfriend a system to try gaming on. That's why we used the 660 Ti; we had one back there and it's perfectly fine for a beginning gamer. The 4770K is because, hilariously, it's the easiest Haswell chip to get inside the industry. Engineering Samples fly around and can't be resold, so we use those wherever possible.

But no, nothing at all is in text and I'm still looking for that particular model of liquid cooling system.

@scpulp10 жыл бұрын
I explicitly opted for the LED AF120s as a choice of style over function, and even explain that in the video. It's true the SP120s would perform better, but the AF120s still get the job done as we're not pushing the 4770K that hard. The person that is using this system appreciated the violet lighting. Sometimes it's okay to go for style at the cost of a few degrees of performance.
