a lot of it is due to hip hop artists like tyler the creator and mf doom using cortex as samples and then people getting more into it. that’s how i got to them at least and they’re probably one of my favorite jazz/funk groups

Thanks for your comment 😅 I try to do my best to sing the best that I can :) and it was not in 1971 but in 1975 , Mireille was effectively amazing she would have been about 82 years old now she died in 1980 (RIP)
