Love how the authenticity of this apartment, the frescoes, the high ceilings and the overall character. This is a superb location for those who want to be in the center of such a lovely town. We visited Cortona several years ago and we loved it. Thanks for the tour Nick. BTW, there's a fabulous gelato place in Cortona called Snoopy right across from the teatro. We highly recommend stopping by.

Lovely 💐 Cortona Apartment. I enjoyed the Green 💚 Doors and Lion 🦁 knockers. The Terracotta Flooring, Doors, Fireplaces, Frescos, but missing Wallpaper in Living Room. The Kitchen was Small but Cute, overlooking the Theater. Would have to add a Larger Sub-Zero Refrigerator and move the China Hutch to the Dinning Room. The Bathrooms were Small but Functional, will have to be updated and remodeled. Overall Good Price! 🌞

That was a lot of stairs! Love the interior of this Palatzzo with the frescoes and gorgeous molding. However, without an elevator could not reasonably carry up groceries or other items. 🫤. I’m guess I’m showing my age.

Stunningly atmopheric and cosy. All it needs is a good shower in one of the bathrooms really, and a few understated pieces of furniture. The extra room would be a perfect studio that could be a guest bedroom when needed. The walls, ceilings, and original weathered features are so beautiful. And with that massive wall of cupboard and closet space you have all the storage you need. Good size too, my flat is 120 square meters, but 20 of those are a completely separate studio unit, so tge space I use is roughly the same as this. I'd have loved a little balcony somewhere but know they are quite rare in buildings this old. This was a lovely tour, thanks!

Nick, knockers.... You're the Benny Hill of Italian real estate. Another fantastic property. I've never visited Cortona, but your brief showing definitely made me add it to the list. The apartment is nicely designed, though it could use some updating. The fireplaces and ceilings are a definite draw. Is it possible to restore the frescoes to some degree? I remember a previous video where the owners had done a phenomenal restoration. Thanks for another well done and entertaining video!

What a lovely home with such incredible character compared to apartments at 3 times the cost here in my city. I was mentally arranging furniture and room functions as you toured this perfect option for a single person particularly. My only personal concern would be the possible conflict between my rather aged knees and all those stairs but otherwise, what a temptation. I won't embarrass you by rabbiting on yet again about how good your presentation, production values, narration, and infectious enthusiasm are, or what enjoyable material you offer for house hunters, historians and art/architecture lovers alike, I'll let the other comments praise you on behalf of us all. That's a beauty, loving the faded grandeur I could absolutely see myself sitting in that kitchen drinking my morning coffee in front of the open window. Although there's no outside space, the huge windows, high ceilings and room volume make it very light and airy and brings the outside in. The bedroom and bathrooms definitely need a bit of help though, the wardrobes are overwhelming the proportions somewhat, another solution is needed to balance the room.

🤔 There did not appear to be a shower or bathtub in the residence. That’s…unusual. From the moment you entered the property I thought, “Oh dear, I’d want the entire building, not just a suite of rooms.” The architecture is wonderful and the apartment in particular is stunning. My god those walls. I quite like the interconnecting rooms.

Good morning Nick from York Maine USA.Thankyou for showing us this beautiful apartment. I think the room next to the kitchen would be my dining room. I love to cook for family and friends and need a space to accommodate them. It must be so wonderful to be able to step out your door and your in the center of town. Since Iam dreaming and truly more of a country girl I think I’d like my primary residence in the beautiful countryside in one of those beautiful homes you’ve shown us and I’ll just have this apartment for weekends . Nick this may sound strange but what does the air smell like? I remember growing up with my Italian family living in a small city 4 miles from Boston in a area where everyone was from Italy. Every Sunday I’d wake up to smell of meatballs and what we called gravey others call tomatoe sauce and as we walked past my grandparents house who lived across the street from us on our way to church my grandfather would be standing there proudly looking at his huge garden. He had a fig tree peaches plums apples tomatoes green beans onions peppers everything not to mention his grape vine and wine cellar where he made his wine plus chickens and rabbits that were meant for dinners but God for bid if I knew that then since I love animals !Anyway after this long going on I still remember the incredible smells . Everyone made their gravey on sundays so you would smell that but all the garden too smelled so sweet. Everytime I smell sweet basil and anisette Iam home. Certainly a superb location. Call me a bore if you will but Im never taken by some of these apartments - the grandeur of them in their heyday is undeniable but they dont appear to adapt well to modern living and furniture etc in my view.... I find the doors off every room a very unique feature in these apartments too though!
