There are a lot of old drivers and they do not have the best eyes and other problems. They cannot handle a 300km/m car in the mirror. Even 200 can be too much...

I noticed happy reactions from kids which don't even know what a corvette is, also some adults on gas stations sometimes ask what kind of type/brand the car is. Other than that, i just have fun with the car and generally don't notice if people give the car attention.

Wer zuerst kommt, mal zuerst. Das gilt auch auf der Autobahn (FIFO).

@Prussian848 жыл бұрын

In my other vid kzbin.info/www/bejne/fp3Mgpaofd57brc you can see how "easy" 300 km/h is reached.

"With an LS2 Vette", Seriously? Any stock untuned and unmodified C6 LS2 Corvette can do 300 km/hr. Check out a video called "Rebuilding an Icon" about the research and development of the C6 Corvette. The poor lowly Gen4 LS2 is a modified LS6 that was used in the late production years C5 Z06. It had its displacement increased from 5.7 to 6 liters which also increased its compression ratio. GM purposefully lied about its HP rating so as not to piss off C5 Z06 owners. The LS2 only has about 15 actual HP less than the LS3 that has a displacement of 6.2 liters.

Very silly doing this on a two-lane stretch. Anyone pulls out and you and they are fucked.
@MrGTSounds6 жыл бұрын
That can happen on a three-lane as well. When i drive fast, some things i allways pay attention to: how many cars are infront, how is the street, how far can i see, is a blind corner comming up, would i be able to react and handle an incident, how does the car feel...constantly checking everything. Driving fast is a lot more than putting down the paddle, especially when going speeds above 250 km/h.
@zenrising33146 жыл бұрын
Yeah agreed. I rode from Frankfurt to Hamburg on an S1000XR a couple of years ago. I only really let rip on the three lane sections because if someone pulled out on the two, there was nowhere to go. Also I was doing about 260kmh and almost got taken out by a Koenisegg doing well over 300. It came out of nowhere, around a sweeping turn. One second there was nothing behind me and the next it was rocketing by less than a meter away. I guess in a car you're more visible. I also had a couple of cars overtaking slow cars (slow cars doing a lousy 140kmh in the right lane) but the overtaking cars were only doing about 180, so it was full onto the brakes, which is not fun when you're doing over 250. The third lane provides a sort of unspoken law for Germans - generally stay out of it unless you're doing very high speeds (at least 250) or you're looking at getting rear-ended by an Audi.
