I so enjoy your videos, they’re very informative. Just got my 70th Anniversary pearl white HTC out of storage after purchasing it last December. I’ve finished up adding my accessories from ACS, had it ceramic coated, and the windows will be tinted tomorrow, photos to follow soon.

I never liked the C8's "wall of buttons," hopefully a new design is imminent....also, Michelin recommends that at 5 years, the tires should be inspected by a professional, at 10 years they should be replaced, this is per Michelin's tire site, mention that to Chuck

Hi Rick! Bernardo over here, thanks for featuring my C8 on your last week Tech Tuesday! I was thinking maybe you can talk in a future video about the difference between the regular bose speakers and the 'performance' ones in upper trims. I'm enjoying my car, but I think the sound its not as good as it was on the C7!

What if you don’t necessarily track your C7 Corvette but you do drive aggressively on the highway. I just drove into Vegas, then drove back to Albuquerque NM and enjoyed driving through the mountains. When it comes to the battery, I just replaced it last year after nine years of owning the C7 Corvette. Keep in mind that when I’m not driving the Corvette it’s on the trickle charger. I did replace it with another OEM AC Delco battery, but I upgraded to the Gold version that they have available. For the C7 Corvette new owner. definitely purchase a new set of Michelin pilot sport all season 4 if you plan to drive it all year. Otherwise stick with the Michelin summer tires. Keep in mind that if you keep the summer tires, you’ll have the front tire chatter during cold climates.

Regarding brake fluid I only use Castrol SRF as it has the highest boiling point on the market. I have had no issue utilizing it for one season before completely flushing it before the next.

I just purchased a suburban high country and it is loaded and it’s pretty sad to see the tiny screen that they put in this vehicle and then to see the traverse with that gigantic screen that goes all the way across. That’s what General Motors problem is they’re too slow to react when they do something of course it all Gets people to buy something else again

Ricky great show You said something I never heard and can’t understand You said the non-z51 leaves less brake dust than the Z51 I realize the z51 has bigger brakes, but other than that, why more brake dust?

Always learning from you and Chuck! Good info on 6 years for Michelins. When I bought my 14, the radio screen had a short in it, sometimes it worked fine but other times it was a scrambled picture. Dealer said they would replace it for me as a condition of my purchase. It took 7-8 months for the screen to come in. But when it did, the dealer replaced it and it has been perfect since then. I think that screen cost about $1800. Made my deal a better buy than I thought I had. Oh well, the next Corvette comes from Ricky! Love your channel!!

rotors will get surface rust only as they sit....soon as you drive and brake they come off.....

Hi Rick abd Chuck, it's becomes part of my routine to watch your videos. They are simply the best. I have question, I remember a video a year ago when Chuck shows how to open tonneau in service mode. I wandering how is to close it? I have 2024 c8 stingray 3lt. I started my car remotely using my key fob , then I push lock button and then push and hold convertible top button- tonneau goes up, nice, I checked the oil and trying to use key fob to lock it again and push and hold convertible top it's shut down the engine , but tonneau is still up. So, I need to inside the car and turn the engine on by union start/stop button, but when I trying to pull up convertible button to bring tonneau down, it won't work. So I should push down convertible top button to bring the top completely down , tonneau goes down. Then I have to pull up the convertible button again to bring the top up. Is this the only way to close tonneau by bringing the tip down and then by bringing the top up? Many thanks if you can shed some lights on this procedure. Unfortunately, it's not in the manual

by reading the 2022 forum one of the guy wrote that he using a remote key fob to open and close tonneau in service mode. He start the car using remote key fob, open tonneau in service mode by clicking the lock button and pushed and hold convertible top button on the key fob, check the oil, and then he close the tonneua by using again the key fob in the same sequence - clicking on the lock button again and push and hold convertible top button again on yhe key fob. This didn't work on my 2024 model. I wonder if 2024 changed the key fob operations? or what the guy wrote was simply applicable for earlier models?
