I don't think the cost of a ZR1 is worth it unless you want resale. A base + 15-30k mods would be fast car.

It would cost you 15 to 30 k just to get a base ls3 to the same power level of a stock zr1, MAYBE. That's just motor to reach same power level 30k. Then factor in wide body kit, mag ride, carbon hood roof and quarters, carbon ceramic brakes, upgraded diff and half shafts, the upgraded gear set in the tr6060, 335 rears tires stock, npp exhaust stock, 3" with factory x pipe. The manifolds flow great up to 700 whp. It takes a lot to get a base c6 up to par with a zr1 and it's a fully forged internal engine with a pretty aggressive cam stock. Then you can add a pulley and tune and gain 50 to 100 hp easy and the sky's the limit from there. They're a great bargain if bought correctly
