Seriously, I am generally inclined to give Corey a thumbs up on anything without even having to hear it first. My first guess is that the thumbs down are from Casio-haters.

notes falling like rain, caught in a shower, heavy, heavier, and you give up and just walk. the rain is chill, cool, sweet and fresh and the walk becomes beautiful, clothes ruined you wish it never stops..the rain.. or the walk, never ends. you get in, dry yourself, put the clothes away in hope that something of them may be saved. and the memory of the sweet rain chalks itself up in your mind, always there at a low humming level, intruding sweetly through your life as you go. a wet sustaining memory

Nice video, great playing, but this is a strange demo for what is meant as an arranger keyboard... where are the rhythms??? This guy needs a Hammond or a Kronos IMHO.
@brittanyberry86976 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Pretty sure hes just demo-ing which is why hes not playing any original music.
@stonelenny6 жыл бұрын
He's very generous to be touching this crap thing called "arrangers". Keyboards for the lazy. All the notes you are listening come from he's playing.

Playing nice things on a Casio. I can buy this performance but not the musical instrument. Why? Reputation of the musical instrument!
@bernios34466 жыл бұрын
So you see, with playing like Cory Henry; the synth used does not matter that much, it sounds great because the playing is great. If you sound bad on a casio, it is - well - because you aint no Cory Henry ...
@lbamusic6 жыл бұрын
A great player can make any board sound better. So improve your skillset and the keyboard wont matter as much - you will have a much larger range of boards to choose from - from Casio to Faziola

@jiomankorg96516 жыл бұрын
Casio. still needs lot more work. bass sounds like 1note sample. built quality...man don't get me started.
@yargnad6 жыл бұрын
Sure, but if I need an arranger on a budget for something that will just sit in my home studio and isn't going to take a beating...let me finish. I can easily control all my gear from something simple like this and not have to pay a lot for something that is essentially a songwriting tool. Besides, some of those sounds were quite nice and I could even possibly find a home for them in a mix. I am not a huge fan of arranger keyboards in general, but they are useful for composing, so why would I want to pay so much more for a Trinity/Motif/etc? For those prices I would rather have a dedicated synth. My pops had a CZ101 way back in the day ('84?) and he would get wicked tones out of that thing and don't get me started on the VZ1...it's a monster. Casio is no slouch, mon frere. They just target the budget-minded audience.
@HubertEtAlice6 жыл бұрын
Well arrangers don’t have the same usage as synths, pianos or organs obviously. But they are nice when you are alone or with a singer to animate a party, and are a nice help for writing songs. This guy is a great player but he should demonstrate organs and pianos, not arrangers. When you are buying an arranger you are interested in the rhythms obviously. Arrangers are not crap, just another type of keyboard for another type of musicians, or a complementary tool. Many musicians have a piano or a synth, and on top of that an arranger.
